“hey Sport” “this is called a breach of contract”

Mac OS Mojave

Freezing and crashing in any heavily populated area. Including dungeon, raids, large cities and whenever else it feels like it.
I did get an error report however:

So is it fixed, see people talking about how the game works?

It was doing good, able to do most things again. Just now got iffy and bad again — could’ve been Bc I got phased to a high pop server

I noticed my frame rate dropping on world bosses today so I’m not sure what’s going on

Mine is still beyond laggy

Yeaaah, I thought it was mainly fixed, whatever they did helped out some people but I still can’t run full things, if anything I can do WQs without lagging, not keys or islands ( testing them out as I go throughout the day )

Currently frozen on a BG as I’m writing this. Why are people saying this is fixed if they haven’t patched this, the earlier maintenance was just that, their regular Tuesday maintenance, no Mac fix. My BG is probably over by now but I don’t know because the freezing has lasted for 5 minutes already. Kind of tired of just doing solo content, since that’s when I get less freezes

Where were you in game when the crash happened?: A Burning Crusade instance (5-man).

What were you doing when the crash happened?: One week ago, after the last update, I took my level 71 void elf warlock into a Burning Crusade dungeon in hopes that the bug had been resolved by the 1/21 update. On the second pull of the dungeon, the spinning color wheel of death appeared and my entire computer froze. I could not exit out of WoW, nor could I open any other application. I had to hard restart my computer. Since then, all I’ve dared to do is fish in very remote locations.

What error message did you get (if any)?: N/A. Everything froze.

What character/class you were playing when it happened?: A level 71 void elf warlock.

Was there any other notable behavior before the lockup occurred or anything you want to add?: Prior to patch 8.3, I was dungeon-leveling this toon smoothly with no issues.

This is just ridiculous. I’ll guess I’ll be joining all the others who’ve cancelled their subs since I can’t run dungeons or raid. Bummer.

Logged on today in Boralus. Was only on for 3mins and wow froze 4 times. Logged off and unsubscribed

When I first got on this morning it was lag free and I was able to do things, but I didn’t push it with keys etc, went along a fully soloed a ML and cleared up, only with one lag spike ( wasn’t able to make it to the first boss in the previous days )

Kept testing it throughout the day with world quests ( i always get frozen in Uldum but was always to make it through for the most part, give or take 3 small minor freezes. ) ever since then though the lag / freezing has been so bad that I couldn’t log into my toon who was phased into another server until they had to kick me just so I could get in

I’ve also never had lag or slow down in raids. I’m still not sure how you have all been convinced to pay more money for the same parts because of an operating system.

Honestly. I just hope they fix it for Shadowlands. It’s become evident that the ship has sailed for 8.3, even if they fix it in a few months (which is the likely prognosis) I’ll be too far behind to join my raid team again.

Blizzard, please prioritise getting a fix for this by the time Shadowlands launches. Most of us have unsubscribed and moved on, the best you can hope for now is to regain the subs you’ve lost by the time 9.0 comes around

Where were you in game when the crash happened?: Dungeon

What were you doing when the crash happened?: Second boss.

What error message did you get (if any)?: No Error, it would Freeze and never recover.

What character/class you were playing when it happened?: Troll Hunter

Was there any other notable behavior before the lockup occurred or anything you want to add?: Game video would freeze. Audio noise, movement, action going on in background continued. Would need to force quit WOW.

Didn’t they say that 8.5 won’t be a thing? If anything I would assume it would be then, I just can’t remember if they said 8.5 isn’t happening.

On another topic, it’s very frustrating when you are an officer of a guild and can’t even help them in keys, do the raid, or partake in any of the guild events.

Unfortunate to hear this is still going on. Thankfully, I have a PC that I am able to still play on from time to time (although most of my gaming takes place on my laptop). Would really love to be able to play on my mac again soon…

Where were you in game when the crash happened?:

I crash all the time this patch. Dailies, mythics, and most recently arenas. I’ve attempted to do some arenas today, and my computer completely locks up. Sometimes it is for 10 seconds (which is awful in arena btw) and sometimes the lock up is permanent where I have to restart my computer.

What were you doing when the crash happened?:

Most recently, healing arenas.

What error message did you get (if any)?:

No error messages, computer just locks up.

What character/class you were playing when it happened?:

Blood Elf - Holy Paladin

Was there any other notable behavior before the lockup occurred or anything you want to add?:
