Crashing, freezing, and stuttering after 8.3 [Intel GPUs]

And now to add to the no-fun, random disconnects while in Boralus or other random spots. Disconnect message bears the code WOW519003119.

I don’t see any recent updates on the status of their efforts to fix this from Bizzard here. Are we being ignored?

How tf is this not fixed yet? I have reset my game, blown away all customizations, prayed to wow gods, and still CRASH OVERRIDE…

Isn’t this like day 9/10 now. Pretty wild

I’m going to try again soon. When I tried earlier I got a 3 minute computer freeze then crash. Friend on Windows with a pc that costs 3 grand had the same issue

I hope it works for you! I haven’t even logged in for about 3 days because I just cannot stand still having this problem. It’s so disappointing. I don’t have the space on my computer to partition my hard drive so I’m kinda stuck until Blizz figures this out

Yes, they tell us it’s our system and have us go through all kinds of stuff… reset UI, scan and repair, uninstall/reinstall when it’s an issue that they have apparently known about since the PTR (see above comments). Now playing with a totally “bare” game and the same issues. All I got for my wasted hours of effort was a loss of all my Weak Aura strings and Twitch cannot find the game, so manually installing add-ons.

well It was fine till I fought one mob. Then it froze. Only froze for 30 seconds but just one mob…

That is what was happening to my husband. So he switched to lower level characters and tried dungeons. That didn’t work, he literally froze on every trash pull and boss fight. Just a huge mess

I was basically just playing the free version. Doing under level 20 and just taking my time alone. It looks horrible but it plays. It does not mean I should be forced to pay 15 a month for it. but its playable if you don’t mind it making Minecraft look high tech.

I mean aren’t these developers paid to deal with this sort of thing in a timely manner? A few days is understandable but we’re closing in on a week and a half. :man_facepalming:

Don’t be shocked if it is a month before we can fully play again.

Joke is on me, I pre-ordered Shadowlands. I’m a sucker. :pensive:

1001 ways to crash

@moonre… Yup, its total wow bullsh!t, now I got a ticket submitted, and I know some a$$hole will respond with 14 pages of copy/paste canned bullsh!t…

Yup sucks you can’t even level a vulpir or do regular bfa stuff on a different faction

I have the same issue on a 2018 MacBook Pro. It seriously happens at the most random times. I love to play pvp and getting the rainbow mouse in the middle of a fight drives me insane. I have to force shut down or close my screen down. Yesterday, my screen would freeze but I could still hear the sound continuing in the background. Ugh. Hope this issues get’s fixed pronto.

Convinced we’re not getting a fix.

The crazy part is that Blizzard is so stubborn. If I thought for a second that when they fixed this they send like 4 or 5 vessels in my mail with a note saying, “hey sorry you couldn’t play and keep up, here’s some vessels to make up for it!” I mean, I’d be fine with it. I get it, stuff happens. But I know they won’t. It wouldn’t cost them anything and we wouldn’t get ahead, we’d just be made whole and even with the PC players. Wouldn’t cost them a dime. But since I’m perms behind now, I just unsub’d and walked away. FF14 is a fun game dudes. I’m perfectly happy over there learning a new game.
