Yeah, that’s all we get. Blizzard telling us to uninstall addons, repair dl, redownload wow, basically everything like it’s our fault. So we miss an entire week and we aren’t getting anything for our time. Blizzard just got paid for doing nothing and giving us a broken game.

People have been reporting smooth gameplay on Windows. Others have recommended the fix Of … Running a windows in bootcamp and playing it there. I have bootcamp but i dont feel like partitioning 100+ gigs for my drive just to play wow normally.

now im even having the same issues on my low level alts. low fps, freezing in dungeons/bgs/scenarios. really hoping for a fix soon

Same here!! My new iMac has started crashing at random while playing, as far as I can tell it has no limits as to when and where in the game it can occur. It’s happened while in LFR, Uldum, and in island expeditions. Today I tried to log on and it immediately froze and rebooted my computer completely, I’ve submitted a ticket and was told that blizzard is aware of the issue but has no fixes for it currently.
and yet on here they said they have a fix just unsure when they’ll be putting it live

Theres maintenance Tuesday…lets all say a prayer. -.- also I am really curious to find out what the issue is and what we all have in common, an explanation after all has been resolved would be nice. I think that is the least what we deserve. Because it seems to be a wide range of computers, systems, and processors that are being affected.

I posted a few days ago in this thread because I have a late 2016 MacBook Pro running Mojave and am facing the same problems as everyone else.
All I’ve been able to do since Tuesday is to farm jellies in Stormsong Valley. Whenever I do a bee event, I get the spinning color wheel of death. When I dared to try o reach Exalted with Mechagon tonight (I only needed 700 additional reputation points), my computer froze twice, requiring two hard restarts, all because I was trying to kill silver elites. Prior to patch 8.3, I had no problems with either bee events or silver elites.
I’ve been playing World of Warcraft since 2006. I love this game–more than is healthy. I don’t have the time to join a serious raiding guild at this point in my life, but I have raided in the past and am a semi-decent healer. When my wife went into Operation: Mechagon for the first time on Friday, I couldn’t join her because of this bug.
I want to give you my money, Blizzard. I’ve been doing so for 14 years. I’m willing to put up with bumps in the road–that comes with the territory and has happened several times in the past. But this particular issue feels like blatant disrespect from your team to all Mac users.
Please, fix this problem. If Mac users can buy this game, Mac users should be able to play this game.

After patch 8.3 the game will lag for about 5-10 seconds with the rainbow mouse icon circling. This issue particularly occurs when I’m around a lot of people or in a chaotic boss fight.

Same issues in our house since this update; my husband and I both have iMacs bought in different years. Tonight was the first night my Mac was forced to restart; but my husbands had frozen and restarted about 3 times, the last two being only a few minutes apart. Since finding this forum, I sent in support tickets to Blizzard from both our Macs with our system reports attached; hopefully they’ll get this issue resolved pretty quickly since anytime we play now my husband is either frozen or the Mac restarts. It’s made it unplayable for him and I both since I have to essentially wait for him to either unfreeze or get logged back in. Blizzard, I hope you’re reading this and realizing you have some making up to do for those of us so negatively affected. Especially since we can’t play something we paid for. Also, keep in mind, this is a way for couples to do something together when they’re not together; i.e. me and my husband have used the game to communicate and do something together when he’s been gone for work (military). Something to think about.
This toon can barely level as well, was doing scarlet monistary and it froze a good 10 times, after the first three my MAC CRASHED. this is just sad and disappointing that blizzard can’t even release a functioning patch. My main is even failing the daily visions because it freezes so much. I only have a 2017 MacBook…
Ok , Im just gonna be completely transparent. I suffer from PTSD and mild schizophrenia. I play Wow because its therapeutic for my mental. The fact that i am seeing others have a “good Ole Time” in the new Bg’s and Uldam zone. Im sitting here at 5:00am reading wow forums. Trying see whats going on. Plzz help us!!

Any update from Blizz would be appreciated. Hopefully the fix works and is implemented tomorrow.
