Crashing, freezing, and stuttering after 8.3 [Intel GPUs]

The freezes continue I thought they would be resolved with maintenance but it wasn’t like that

that is why they said that they did not know when the fix would be applied. You would think during this morning thing, but you know how companies work. Nothing ever gets done as it should.

ok I’ve avoided posting in this thread again, as nothing has really changed for me…still same problems as I reported a few days ago. However I do feel compelled to provide 2 coppers atm. I am more then a bit disheartened that today’s ‘emergency’ was ONLY to address AH issues. Dont get me wrong I use the AH and while those issues are bothersome…they are in NO WAY as much of an issue as the mac issues are. Ignoring a third or more of your users that can not effectively play the game…while dedicating priority to an in game component like the AH, which in no way keeps swaths of people from playing…I’m sorry there is NO excuse for that…and is beyond ridiculous .

Day 5 of not being able to play. Just going to uninstall it and move over to another game at this point. We all know they wont be working Sunday so no fix until next week. that is just sad.

And now they are busy working on mailing issues… IDK why those small bugs are more in priority…:confused:

I think at this point it would make sense for Blizz to give Mac players at least some free game time as a result of all this, or at least reset lockouts for the xmog runs I tried to do, haha… I know it’s been said already but it really sucks to be paying for something we can’t use.

They wont do anything to pay players. There is small print that states they do not have too. As it is going, don’t be shocked if the fix comes on Tuesday.

I always experience the problem after I finish a match, EVERY match. And as soon as I touch the screen it crashes. Ether when im inspecting a card or in the middle of the match. It will not go 5 min after finishing an “Adventure” or any other match without crashing.

Well, something changed. There was a mini update last evening and a couple of addon updates. I went from seeing the issues mentioned here to 60 fps in Boralus on settings of 10. I’m running 10.15.2 on a Mac Pro with a Radeon 5700 XT.

The update hasn’t been pushed yet. It’s still unclear on when it will be pushed at this moment, but we’ll try to provide information as they come. Thank you all for your patience! It is a frustrating issue for this happen just after patch and we hear you.

Thank you for posting. Should have come out with that before the fix this morning so Mac users we’re not waiting for it.

That answer is not good enough and it is just more of the same. Why is it unclear on when the update will be pushed? Is this not a priority? Should there not be planning on Blizzard’s behalf? Why is it so hard to schedule a push for an update that is required to actually enable people to play the game?

It isn’t Blizzards staff calling the shots. That is why this is happening. Activision is the problem. They did the same thing to Destiny. Activision is a cancer on gaming. It is out to make money and they do not care about the gamers. So it is cheaper to cut staff than put out a game that works for everyone.

Maybe because middle and upper management sucks and the people answering on Blizz’s behalf in the forums to us are sacrificial lambs to our rage with no power to deliver anything but the confusion handed down to them by middle-man corporate sociopaths?

I say that as someone who can’t play right now either an am considering cancelling my sub over it. I just don’t blame the devs or the blues in forums, I blame their superiors.

I enjoy the game. But this is crazy. 5 days now, I have not been able to play. I already canceled, bc I don’t want to be charged again for not being able to play. The only thing Blizzard should do right now is speak up to the gamers. They can do that one thing. We are understanding. But they need to speak up.

Again I say UNACCEPTABLE - this is keeping a huge swath of your users from being able to play (or those that tough it out…it took me 2.5 hours to complete Uldam today due to freezes and lockups requiring me to reboot). As I mentioned above I get that some are having AH/mails issues…however that SHOULD NOT be a priority over a large number of your users not being able to play at all.

Cancelled sub because this patch is unplayable in group settings. Can’t do any form of PvP, mythics, islands, etc.
