Crashing after every update now

Is there a reason why every single time there is an update in wow I now have to go through the candy cane forest to get it to load? Everything I have is updated. All drivers are up to date and all background programs are closed. Never have issues with Diablo but every Tuesday I now dread.

You might want to follow up with tech support for this, and you will need to get some computer information. Tech support for your computer type would be dependant on OS, Windows or Mac. One thing to try is checking to see if your graphics setting is Dx12, and try switching to 11 to see if that helps.

If you are getting memory dump errors it’s a known issue.

Is there a fix? Could adding more memory help or is it a brand issue? Any info is helpful tyvm!!

As per the post I linked, Blizzard hopes to have a fix early next week. More memory is not going to fix the issue. In the mean time you can make a macro with the console command and use it every once in a while. The command takes the memory usage back to normal level temporarily. It starts to climb again at that point, so it’s a work-around rather than a permanent fix.
