Yeah and losing has such consequences, for example now Lor’themar has to go to Suramar to drink arcwine and engage in time warped intercourse
Terrifying concept, I love it and I am stealing it.
The Horde will think twice before launching another invasion for the third time.
I’m just glad Blue-side never got a whiff of the fact the Horde burned Stormwind to the ground in the process of rescuing the Zandalari. (Okay, technically Zul’s the one who burned Stormwind to the ground with his little pyromaniac antics)
I was about to object because i thought you were including Orgrim’s horde invasion… but then i realized no, no you’re right: the “New Horde” with its redemption and honor has launched warmongering invasions on two separate occasions, now… this is all so dumb, this is not the horde blizzard advertised to players
Yes, but it got better.
There are no consequences for anything. Unless you’re a Night Elf, I guess, then you go to Super Hell as a consequence for…
checks notes
Minding your own business and being a convenient representation of “purity” to convey the message that the Horde are super bad.
Reminder that Blizzard is on record saying Sylvanas is not evil (evil is a state of mind) knowing full well that she sent children to super hell
“Now why do we bother going through the effort of writing twists and unexpected plot directions when we could just lie to them, instead?” - Someone in the writer’s room
fixed that for you
Be careful, man, you’re coming dangerously close to letting negativity in the dojo.

Really was a lot of love for a war story.
- Sylv & Natty, a tale for the ages
- Jaina and family love triumphing over past and current trauma
- Thalyssra & Lor’themar: buddy cop porno
- Tyrande and Malfurion #couplegoals
- Thrall and Saurfang, a bromance reignited
Meanwhile, back in Stormwind…
Damn, she’s fine…
“Can you tell me anything about my father, Bolvar Fordragon?”
God damnit.
Which baffles me because when I turned to look at Stormwind I was just like “How…how was this not a plot point for the Alliance side?”
I mean, Uldir was, for the Alliance, basically turning up and saying “I have no idea what is going on, but I am ALL IN!” If Blue-side had been informed that, Hey Stormwind almost burned to the ground and that Zul guy is the one who started the blaze and he’s hiding out in this corrupted Titan Facility…I mean, it would have given us a STAKE in the story.
The glorious Alliance victory was shown on screen. Didn’t you see how the war ended? Sylvanas said something mean about the Horde and then flew off in a cloud of smoke.
wssshhhhh (that’s the sound of everyone’s expectations dying as well)
One of the biggest criticism since we first learned it was going to be a faction war expansion is that the faction conflict would inevitably have an unsatisfying ending. So I’m not sure my expectations for it were ever particularly high.
Given that the war could have easily ended with Anduin lecturing Tyrande about how she needed to cooperate with the Horde to fight the latest big bag I think they managed to avoid the worst case scenario.
It was a mediocre ending to a bad story, so overall it outperformed the rest of the war campaign.
I was dumb enough to get a bit excited that this would be the faction war to end the faction war, a final conclusion to a terrible plot that blights both the story and the way the members of the community interact with each other.
but nope lol we’re gonna do this again after we get back from shadowlands and nothing will ever change
Anduin might as well have lectures Tyrande… The way they write him as always being right they are going to make her out to be evil or wrong for wanting to hold the Horde accountable.
I guarantee we will get Anduin lecturing Tyrande after we rough her up in a raid, then Anduin in his holy might will tell her about the error of her ways and how wrong she was. It will be awful and total dog crap but it’s coming.
I don’t know, I’m putting the odds of Tyrande getting her own raid at less than 1%.
Its funny how people were predicting Jaina would be a raid boss and like… she was, but not in that way?
