Pretty sure that guy is actually permabanned. That, or he picked a real coincidental time to suddenly drop WoW.
His guild was also forcibly disbanded by a GM, though I don’t think they did anything to stop the rest of them from running off to remake it under a new name.
Probably just a result of all the media coverage, but at least something did get done.
I played on Grobb and scanned the realm forums for awhile. Can confirm, these guys are absolute creeps. I won’t mention a names (ToS and all that), but the Guild Leader traded Watermelon, Chicken, and Moonberry Juice to a pretty well known person from Emerald Dream & Grobb. The guild is absolutely trash.
Additionally, the guild was essentially promoting Cult Worship for the GM and how horrible he was and passing it for RP. Labeling them as creeps is putting it lightly, but ugh. If you guys want to go down a rabbit hole, assuming the posts aren’t deleted. I don’t suggest doing it, you’ll loose more faith in humanity.
I think my skin just crawled off my entire body.

I found their recruitment thread on Grobb.
The first several posts consisted of people saying “Hail (person im assuming is the Guild Leader)”
given what we know about them.

Yeah, I did a scan, looks like most of the threads (drama) related to Enclave are gone. If you feel like dying inside feel free to look for the whole fiasco content on the Grob subreddit.
For additional context, this guy is so horrible, that folks have documented how creepy and cruel the GM is. But it’s not just him, it’s that guild in general. I’m sure there were folk that didn’t know, but a great deal of that guild was just full of creeps.

Found the audio of their Discord meeting after this as well. Holy $%#@ is all I got to say. 20min in and holy moly.
Then I learned that The Enclave has been sponsored by a White Nationalist forum.
I’m just so glad that this congressman brought light to this. I doubt that anything would have happened without his intervention.

Agreed. They were taken down due to potential bad publicity.
Like you guys were mentioning before, Blizzard is allowing their game to foster really disgusting communities and community members. They need to be proactive instead of reactive.
