Cranky Quarantine Thread

I mean, not excusing the nonsense, but I still remember on my first server - Thorium Brotherhood - coming across a slave auction back in BC. So it’s not as baseless a concern as it might seem on the face of things.

Interestingly enough, Malfurion and Tyrande hooked up when they were awkward teenagers (for elves).

Oh of course, I have no doubt racism happens (there was a whole article about a politician lambasting Blizzard because one of his staffers found a literal mock Klan gathering in WoW)

My issue was with that OPs asinine “so there should be no option for Black People”.

Then trying to justify it with lore.

Aren’t Malfurion and Illidan like 1000 years older than Tyrande? I thought we saw that in Illidan’s past cutscene things we did with Xera.

Fun fact: that apparently got the guy in charge of the gathering only 3 days off.

On that we both agree. Especially since Vykrul come in a variety of colors, brown included.

Heck, Vykrul can be as blue as I am and not be dead!

Only thing I remember about that blatant revisionist history is Mama Naaru wagging her metaphorical finger at us for daring to have an issue with Illidan using other Moon Guard as Energy Drinks.

“It’s bringing division!” is a hell of a weak excuse when the devs have gone out of their way to ensure that a divided playerbase is a “pillar of WoW.”

But yeah, that post is smelly.

Racism is bad.

I’ll take my ban now for this divisive and controversial statement.

“Attempting to censor and harass intolerance only breeds more intolerance .”

It took almost 200 posts but, “you need to be nice to racists.” finally showed up.

Best part is how that’s the literal opposite of reality.

The Paradox of Tolerance is a thing for a reason.

I don’t know how long that thread’s been up but a casual reminder it is Blizzard’s duty to rip it down.

Duty. Responsibility. Basic morale obligation.

I didn’t say Blizzard was smart, or morale, or self preserving.

I was just reminding that they’re supposed to be.

At this point Im not convinced Blizzard could give me the definition of Moral even with the aid of a dictionary

Casual reminder, as stated above, Blitzchung stands up for Human Rights and has $10k stolen from him (only to be returned because of international and governmental backlash)
