Cranky Quarantine Thread

Speaking of customization… mosey on down to the general forums. Take a look at one of the more popular threads about that.

Just read. The first post is hidden.

Remember always that we are not a civilized animal. The human beast is hungry and cannibalistic. Trust no one.

is it something racist? I bet it’s something racist

"… new face customization for humans
I’m saying this in behalf of those who are afraid of being lashed out for expressing a different opinion

The humans of Azeroth are descendants of pseudo-viking Vrykul, who, alongside with us dwarves and gnomes got the pale skin because of the curse of flesh

The Eastern Kingdoms are based on medieval european kingdoms so it doesn’t make sense to see black and asian faces came out of nowhere

Just wait until somebody make their characters with ridiculous appearance combinations like blond-haired blacks, dark-skinned with but white faced, or afro hairstyled-chinese

Just wait until numerous people complain about being offended by people calling them out by their characters’ appearance
By then the visual identity of azeroth humans are destroyed

Just flag it if you like

Because we don’t have the right to express disagreement"

People are so weird.

fixed that for ya

“Humans are descendent from something thousands of years ago thus can’t be more than one color.”

-looks at trolls and elves that come in like 400 different colors-

It’s frustrating knowing that nothing you ever say to the contrary will convince them otherwise.

I mean, are they implying white people are an invasive, disease carrying species not native to azeroth and their entire presence upsets the natural order and is connected to every bad thing that has ever happened?

Aren’t there darker skinned Vrykul as well? Or am I misremembering?

I read into the thread. It gets even wackier, with the OP eventually claiming to be a “brown asian”.

We live in hell.

So I’m actually excited to see that Blizzard is working on the glowing eyes. The light bulb eyes have always looked really off to me, so I see this as a win.

They also state that they’re working on the eyes from the ground up, so they’re probably working on the eyes to be glowing eyes instead of a weird floating light in front of the eye instead. Similar to Draenei.

Please don’t kill sylvanas. She is a good character!

“Because I care for the game and these would only bring division to the playerbase?”

read as

“I’m not racist, I’m just concerned about racism happening. Therefore no black people please.”

this entire thread is a gold mine

We’ve been taking this week to assess and discuss our takeaways from BlizzCon, and we love all the deep discussions happening around the art, features, systems, and world of Diablo IV. We’re also excited about a cool update we’re planning for you in February of next year. It will be the first in a series of quarterly updates where we’ll share behind-the-scenes looks at our progress going forward.

Expect an update on Diablo 4 in February! Also, quarterly updates? Nice.

I can only imagine how awkward Malfurion was when his feathers and horns started sprouting. Perhaps Tyrande was dating someone else and only realized she loved Malfurion after they went to separate universities?
