Roleplayers are the last part of the player base they design the game for. Unless I’m mistaken, the last animated emote we got came out in Cataclysm.
You would be better inventing some MacGuffin to tether your soul elsewhere before the Horde and Alliance magic a bunch of soldiers to the Shadowlands.
I played an AU Draenei priest who I also alt profiled as his MU Krokul self, all the way through WoD and Legion.
Only to find out we canonically have been unable to cross to Draenor since WoD itself, in the Mag’har scenario.
I sprinkled much salt on that day - so many plots invalidated.

That looks like female worgen eyes. Bright, but not actually glowing.

I doubt it’ll last long. This seems just small but significant enough to inspire a backlash that would cause them backpetal; or so I’d hope.
I like the idea of not having eyes with a glow texture 4 inches in front of them
but honestly unless they make a statement about it, it kinda just looks like a glitch
I’m mostly just impressed that they found a way to make Night Elf dudes look even more nightmarish
like, it looks like they realized the ambient glow messed with a lot of helmets, so they’re going to remove it and make the actual eye texture brighter to compensate
but didn’t do step 2
Blood Elf Death Knights straight up become High Elves with this change.

Draenei (and NE females I think) already have glowing eyes that work like this–our eyeglow is just a texture, not a floating cloud of light like other races have.
It works for us and I think it will work for most Death Knights but wow it looks bad on NE males, largely because their actual eyes are such a different shape than the eyeglows suggested. They go from large round eyeglows to the very small, squinted eyes they had beneath.
And yeah even for DKs and BEs they still need to brighten the texture more like Lyzettie said.

Anyway, I don’t know if I can still do it, but back in Legion I discovered that if I’m using zen flight and target an enemy unit. It causes Versca to do the idle combat stance while still using zen flight, resulting in her eyes opening but without the eye glow and it honestly looks wicked cool and I’d be into having that.

It does look like they’re removing it for undead too. Right now on the PTR Undead males have had it removed.
Undead females and Blood Elf males still have it (as do many DK race combos) so I assume it is just a work in progress.
Reminds me of the first iteration of the new female worgen skins. Where they had painted on yellow glow for their new yellow eyes, but they didnt add the yellow eyes till a second patch on the ptr
