Public crafting order for blacksmithing will not create item. All the mats are provided, the recipe is learned, and everything related to the item is maxed out. I have disabled all addons, with the result. I click “create” and nothing occurs.

Can confirm. Happens even on all my alts with provided mats. Click Create and it goes through the process visually in the UI but does not change over to allow you to click on the complete craft button in the UI. The UI just says craft on the UI screen.
It’s not just blacksmithing, it’s jewelcrafting too.
Is there a bug ID / time to resolve estimate?
I"m sure there is a bug ID, though it wouldn’t be any use outside of QA. I just have that we’re aware of it and it is being looked into. We don’t usually have ETAs on those kinds of things other than, as soon as possible.

Thats great an all that you know about it, but seeing that professions were rushed out so late before the expansions release, it does not surprise me that no one knows what is exactly wrong. Rushed to 70 go get the Lariat made, and its a no go right after i hit 70.
Hope its fixed soon, because this is just silly.
Its one thing knowing about a bug its another thing fixing it its not as simple as rewriting a single line of code.

This is a serious issue!!! Blizzard has made crafting in Dragonflight a Cornerstone for gearing up and the economy. Please at least let us know that this is a priority! And to Rufflebottom, the first thing I did ,after I realized it was bugged after reset, was to put in a Bug Report. But responses are not given to bug reports, and I so miss the old Blizzard GMs that used to actually contact us in game, usually very quickly, and let us know what was happening or how to fix things, or even fix things for us. 
Of course its a priority but its not the only bug some have higher priorities then other. In this case theres nothing a GM would be able to do and its far eiser just to send a quick template its a known issue. GMS cover every game not just wow.

Like i said, they pushed professions on the PTR, what 2 weeks before DF went live?
Is it a wonder they are so messed up?
Like someone once said,(believe me if i knew i would have asap!) Exploit early and often!
This should be a priority, no ands ifs or butts!
I’m sure it is. But again, this is a peer to peer help desk. SFAs are not devs nor GMs. They have nothing but the information they are given by others. They can’t push anything forward or do anything else.
If y’all want to add to the bug reports, you can do that. If y’all want to give feedback on the issue, there’s the in game suggestion tool.

So Sad! Been playing WoW since original Beta…Customer Service has steadily declined. The reason WoW has been successful is because you used to actually care about your players. As much as your player base has expanded, your Customer Support does not seem to have kept pace.

This isn’t Customer Service. This is a Customer Support forum and it’s always been a peer to peer help desk.
We’re players, not devs, not GMs.
An unfortunate bug happened today. They’ll fix it. Let’s leave the drama at the door.
