Crafting order system need help!

If Blacksmiths are the only people screwed over by their tree not supplying enough flat +skill nodes to guarantee max quality with insight that sounds like an oversight on Blizzard’s part.

Either that or people are trying to get all the specialist trees before maxing out the general trees which buff everything.

This is advice I also give everyone. Max out the inspiration branch in your general tree. Max it out completely asap. Inspiration makes so much if a difference

That’s what I did buffed everything related to rings and everything craft. Made sure every point used first would boost rings in some way.
I am Sauron, forger of the rings of power. My ring crafting has to be perfect .

My guess is it’s either blacksmiths have been shafted despite having access to a spicy epic tool. Or skill points were spread somewhat and don’t focus a craft entirely

For all my crafters, inspiration is a trap except for maybe bulk crafters like alchemist but then inspiration has zero value for transmutes.

Resourceful and multicraft = profit and efficiency, inspiration becomes useless if you are using insights. I will say +skill nodes are the most important ones because they are constant and guaranteed.

Sometime people also use T2 mats and hope for the best because some t3 mats are sooooo expensive. But you get what you pay for. Don’t ever skimp.

For gathering I’ve found perception to be the magic stat for me and for specifically LW and inscription, inspiration. I get enough skill into something to not feel nervous then I pop my inspiration tools and I almost always get good results. It also depends on what Im making. Inspiration is useless for making drums so I maxed out the node that added skill and multi craft to drum making

The issues with professions were known from beta, they intentionally nerfed the blackmsithing racials of dark iron dwarves to prevent them from having certain 100% crafts. Several other profession based racials were also restricted in the process.

As for why, your guess is as good as mine. Im sure the Enchanting experts have a lot to say in regards to being unable to guarantee 3 star scrolls. Same with alchemists and ultimate power potions…

I have all trees maxed and no cant 100% a r5 even with an insight and max rank mats.

I just had 7 of my 9 tools r5 ordered . It is entirely possible, I specifically mentioned insight in my ad and they all got them done. The real issue is people don’t want to use insight.

What I’ve learnt today playing around with things is it’s best to get the item crafted at any T-level with all the specific buff’s you want. THEN seek out a T5 recraft, that way it is guaranteed and difficulty is lowered to only needing insight if their skill and tools are sufficient.

As a weaponsmith, with maxxed out tools, skill points, trees and every single thing i can do to increase it, i still cant 100% r5 some tools and any weapon at max ilvl with emblishmeents and optional reeagents.

What dont you understand about this - you keeep suggesting that people are trying to rip you off.

Ok but a blacksmith literally just garenteed my skinning knife and completed the order at T5 so clearly something is wrong on your end. Something your missing. As all they used was insight. I gave all mats. 5k gold tip. And send T5 minimum

They did complain that I wouldn’t T4 the order and would only accept T5 guarantee but that “blacksmith” completed the tool I needed no issue. So evidently something is wrong on your end

No insight needed. Nothing wrong on my end. Scoll up and read my responses, look at the pics from the other blacmsmith who posted AFTER you said they didnt fill the optional reagents.

Ok but what happens if they take out all optional regent’s and only use insight?

Did you read my comment about crafting with stats etc you want first then sending another order to up quality to T5?

It doesnt change the skill neeeded after you add them on a recraft, it still increases the skill the same.

Ive made hundreds of weapons and tools, i know how this system works. I charge 5k for an initial craft and do free recrafts for increeased ilvl, stat changes, add/remove optional reagents - all for freem just supply the mats and send it.

Ok well I don’t know what to tell you then, I literally just had 7 tools made T5 minimum order on all. So hmm…

Fishing item
Cooking pin
All 3 skinning tools
All 3 engineering tools

They said they can’t do the cooking hat as they had no more insight.

You cannot accept an r5 tool order if you cant r5 it without an insight - you cant accept it even under the pretense of using an insight. The game wont let you.

Ok well as stated read the above comment, obviously it is possible. Because I had 7 tools made T5 minimum on each order

What tools?

Only some profession tools are 100% chance - blacksmithing for example has pickaxes that gain skill from profession points BUT a leatherworkers toolset does not.

I have a 488 skill to craft a leatherworkers knife (requires 425 for r5) so its 100% r5.
I have only 372 skill to craft a leatherworkers toolset (requires 400 for r5) so id have to use an insight to 100%.

Blacksmithing Toolbox, Leatherworkers Toolset and Needle set all only goto 372 skill, nothing else in ther profession tree increases it. If any of these 3 tools are listed as r5 min, you cannot accept the order, they have to be listed as r4 and use an insight.

I had
All 3 engineering tools
All 3 skinning
The fishing tool
And the cooking pin

I only need chef hat now

I miscounted sorry I had 8 tools done, not 7.

I already stated this but here it is one last time

There is no way you listed a leatherworkers toolset at r5 min, the game legit wont let you accept it to craft because you have to use an insight to hit the cap.

You might have listed it as an r4 with the crafter saying they will r5 it with an insight.
