Crafting order creation failed. Please try again later

Each time i send a personal order to my alt i get this error message. So i come back every day, and its the same message.

I am requesting from Horde Kaz’Goroth server, and the crafter is on Allicance Aman’thul server. Both my characters on same account.

There is no mistake with the trade profession or anything like that. They can send game-mail to each other.

I’m providing the spark of ingenuity, and my crafting character is to provide the rest.

What gives?

edit: I read this on some random website, is it true?

  • Crafting Orders are server specific, meaning that you will only see Orders that have come from the server that you are on. You will not be able to complete Orders for any other server.

This issue is present even on same realm orders for me. I am trying to have my shaman request some epic pvp armor from my druid on the same realm but I am getting the same error message. He is supplying the spark and even the scales but it isn’t working and I don’t know why.

Same here. I wonder if it’s an issue with that specific item or type of armor. Because it’s also my shaman trying to place an order for Allied Legguards of Sansok Khan to my druid LW on the same realm. It’s been erroring for 2 weeks. I was hoping the Tuesday reset would fix it but no such luck. I have no issues placing other orders.

This is bugged for me as well, and I am getting the same order creation error message. The craft and I are both on the same server.

Same issue here tried to place a guild order on exact same realm for Allied Legguards of Sansok Khan and got error message.

Just tried to get my pally to craft a polearm for my druid supplied a few items and the rest my pally will . Both on the same server, same faction and I am getting this error message too. Do we need to put in a bug report?? It’s hard enough trying to get your work order filled without this to add to it. I’d like to raid on her sometime in the current content lol

I tried ordering an Obsidian Seared Halberd from my blacksmith and this same error popped up. My gear, on both characters, is 100%; they’re on the same realm (Silver Hand); both level 70; etc., and it still happened.

I tried logging out and back in, and the error still persists. I also tried moving the crafting mats in and out of my BS’ reagent bag and still no luck. My BS has the recipe and is 72+22 skill.

What’s odd is that I ordered a khazgorite leatherworking tool (blue item) from my BS character on my Hunter, which is also the class that can use the halberd. That went through, as did some junk orders for the weekly. So I can order greens and blues but not purples? So, um, yeah… the hell is going on with this crafting order?

I ended up having to place my order as a public order and insure that the guildie was at the table to pick it up. I think it’s a bug in the crafting order system.

I might have figured out why some of these items bug out (at least I think I have). I tried placing a personal order for the other BoP mail pants (forget what they are called), and the crafting order window specified that I must provide spark and primal chaos. The boxes were checked by default and greyed out, so I couldn’t uncheck them. I couldn’t proceed because I didn’t actually have enough prmial chaos on that alt.

If I try to order the Allied Legguards, it doesn’t pre-check the spark and primal chaos boxes, so it looks like it’s letting me place the order without providing the mats - except then it just fails. Again, once I have enough primal chaos on that alt to actually include it with the order (maybe this weekend), I’ll have to try it again.

Yeah, the fact it allows us to place an order that it shouldn’t be, is definitely a bug. It should be greyed out but instead, it allows us to proceed farther into the order creation process and ultimately fails.

Or, what I’d like to see, is to make the primal chaos account bound. At least let us make stuff for our alts if the crafter character has the primal chaos/sparks.

OK its interesting to see lots of issues with Mail armor, because thats precisely what i’m trying to craft also.

I got exactly the same error today. I tried sending to two different Jewlecrafters who said they could make it. I simply waited a couple of hours and the order could be placed with one of those same two JCs. I did nothing different. Pretty annoying.

does anyone know a fix, tried to place a public order this morning to get a axe made with the mats and it wouldn’t let me place it told me to try again later but its been 7 hours and still not working

Hello friends.

I was having a similar error when I wanted to create my epic bow as an order. Make sure you have -all- the mats in your inventory and NOT in your reagent bank! Make sure your Spark of Dreams (or likely other sparks) are fused together and not the ‘splintered’ version. This fixed my problem.

Happening to me still doesn’t fix it

Same problem 2 days in a row. Trying to send a staff with all mats to guild and says failed try latter.

Running into this issue on this hunter, trying to put in 2 crafting orders for Prototype Regal Barding Framework. Wanted to get my last two drake armor colors but I am unable to place orders and instead getting the above message.

This bug still exists, trying to get a 2H sword crafted for my arms warrior and i keep getting the same error regardless of whether i list it as personal or public :disappointed_relieved:

I’m also getting this issue. Trying to get a bow made for my hunter but I just get this message. I think I know what breaks the crafting order creation. Its the Spark used when making the request. Even though its my own toon I’m sending the request to, the spark of the dream seems to be the issue. Either it won’t create because I only have 1 spark of the dream on my hunter or because it just breaks when using that spark.

Upon getting the required Spark of Dreams I was able to make the crafting order for the bow.

Seems the issue for me was I needed two sparks of dreams to submit the order not one.
