I5 9400f at 100% and 3070 at 20% usage I. Arena or just in the game at all. 1080p, is it finally time to retire my setup?
Idk I’m still on a 13” MacBook from 2012. Maybe lower settings and res scale all the way down and pray disable all addons too.

I dont see how your CPU is maxed out by this game at all… it never uses the full CPU or even close to it no matter what CPU Ive ever used. Hope that you’re not infected with a virus

I farm crypto while playing this game.
The only time your CPU would be maxed out would be if you have no GPU working (ie it gets emulated and pushed to CPU), do you have GPU drivers installed? The game will almost run on a toaster from the 90’s

After the patch my machine sounds like a jet engine, wonder what they did.
It’s weird because I know it’s not a super computer but it plays everything else okay. I’ll check cpu drivers

But I think other people are having similar issues with Intel CPUs post patch. I saw a couple threads on the technical issue forums but idk if they’ve gotten a response yet

I have another Pc that has a 12,700k and it seems to be fine lol. But it’s being worked on atm. Just didn’t think a 9th gen intel would struggle that hard

12700k is bis for Intel currently due to all of the issues with 13 and 14th gen CPUs. Plus the new Ultras are trash compared to AMD

Running the game at 1080p is what’s hurting you. Go up to 1440p or 4k and your gpu will get utilized a lot more and the game will actually run better.
