True, it will never be over, it is basically “super flu” and will be back every year just like the flu.

It is sad, but inaccurate if a person goes to the hospital for something other then Covid and dies there, but they test Covid in their system they still count it as a Covid death in many cases. No idea why this is being done, or what the need to inflate the numbers is.

I don’t want to be “that guy”, especially since i have been sick with Covid 3 times, but the disease is never going to be “over”. It’s been reclassifed as an endemic disease, as opposed to a pandemic. Meaning it’s going to keep coming back every year like the common cold or the flu. It’s just something we are going to have to get used to.
It is a Coronavirus, just like the Flu and SARs all the common cold.

Everyone is accountable. If people had stayed indoors for 2-4 weeks after the first breakouts we would not even be talking about Covid today. It would have been remembered as the pandemic that almost was. Rather than a part of normal life it’s going to be from now on.
At this point Covid-19 is probably endemic and will be something that is constantly out there. Just like the Flu and common cold.
No there is one specific group of people who are responsible for this. You’re trying to hold middle men accountable.

Sure, that’s unfortunate, but completely normal. There’s a reason why it’s always been recommended for old and chronically ill people to get a vaccine against the common flu, because it can be as deadly as Covid in its current state. There’s no illness like this that won’t kill some vulnerable people and even before Covid it’s been completely normal in my country that hospitals have been full of sick people every winter.
We just have to adjust to the new reality that we have a new seasonal virus.
Seeing how people are willing to go at each other over this even here, im not surprised OP got flagged.
So say all they did was state they caught covid and wished well on everyone. Imagine well wishing is grounds to flag people now!

People die of many other diseases every year and we do not stay indoors or wear masks for most of those diseases. You can not get “herd immunity” by keeping everyone indoors. Covid still has an over 99% survival rate and still mainly kills people who are very old or very sick, many of who would have probably died of something else within a month or two even if they had not gotten Covid. The regular flu kills thousands every year.

No because I ask questions when I talk to my doctor or the nurses giving me my shots. I also read statistics and articles from both sides of the argument and know people who work in the medical field.
