Thankfully some bodies heal through covid fairly quickly. I’m not sure you can say the same about the actual flu.
If anyone’s ever had full blown flu, 100% covid is pretty much that. It sucks real bad.
Never had a full flu before it honestly, just a mild 2-3 day stomach bug

Yeah, I am not anti-vax in any way. I just can see that the vaccine does not work exactly like we are being told it does.

I should disclaim by saying my immune system is actually pretty solid. Poor decisions can easily weaken it though.
I’ve had full on flu at least 5 times in my life. Every time was miserable. Two of which were as a kid.
Covid was the exact same way. I made bad decisions and caught it. It was the most recent worst week of my life. I was even on vacation during it.
Lemons, garlic, onions, etc are your best friends.
And pineapple.

Yea I had a heatstroke while in the military… Believe it or not, working 15-18 hour days in 120F heat for 9 months straight isnt very good for ya… Who would have thought… 
Anyway, yea all Shots SUK… Even the flu one makes me just as sick as the flu its self. That said, I have also had the J&J covid shot since it was one dose. But I had Covid twice, first time before it was even in the news in the USA yet. I got it from some LEDs that I ordered out of China… Guess my LED strips came with a side of covid infected sneeze…

Because there are enough objectively stupid people typically found in flyover low education states who have made a disease into a political stance and thus mentioning it strains their world view that it is fake because admitting it is real challenges the views of their ex political hero. In their feeble minds, COVID is straight up fake so the millions catching it are all in on some masterful conspiracy theory…I mean considering they think of democrats and the government as wildly incompetent and stupid yet somehow capable of orchestrating a global conspiracy theory that literally saw entire countries shutting down and dealing with is beyond me…but not them.
But hey, they got the sniffles once and got over it so COVID must be fake and the vaccine some kind of government death trap or something.

“Beating” Covid means that it is no longer a death sentence. But nope… it’s never going away.
Certainly not until our school system gets better.
Okay, so that 110% does not track with my experience with the ambulance.
We had a dramatic drop in COVID calls after the vaccine became widely available.
Now, that doesn’t indicate amount of COVID, but it does indicate how many people are in bad enough condition to need a ride in the white woowoo wagon. And to this day, our COVID pickups (which are thankfully becoming rarer) including the CPR with no pre-existing conditions are 2/3s + unvaxed.
Do your research from a reputable source. Preferably peer reviewed and independently verified.

Sincerely hoping anyone afflicted and/or their loved ones who are sick recover fully. Covid is absolutely horrible.
I am fortunate enough to have not caught it yet, but have immune issues and asthma. It would probably be GG. So I got the shots.

There is a saying that applies here (and in many places in day to day life). Don’t argue with idiots. They’ll drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.
Most of these types aren’t actually interested in facts and logic and instead operate on belief (religious and/or otherwise). They’re sheep listening to their shepherds who perpetuate these persecution myths and delude their sheeple into believing their lives are under attack by the big bad government and COVID, amongst other things, are the tools used in this “war” as it were.
I don’t just speak hyperbole here…most of my extended family are very much like this. My pastor uncle and his family couldn’t even hold thanksgiving because they’re so sick with COVID. They’ve long since pivoted from the whole “COVID isn’t real” argument but certainly won’t be vaccinated…not because they are anti vaxx…no it’s because “the guvinmint” has done “something” because they want religious conservatives to die off and “god will protect them”. I have another family member who almost lost his super lucrative cushy state job because he wouldn’t be vaccinated with ~ 2 years from retirement with a massive pension…he got the jab though but “prays god will protect him from whatever conservative targeting thing is in it”.
They are objectively good and kind people but just so deluded thinking we’re living on the cusp of the rapture and the great apoclypse that will follow is basically being setup by all the problems manifesting in the world today. They’re fine with other vaccinations because “that was before the government was targeting us so obviously it’s safe”.

From what I can actually see with my own two eyes; among the many people I know who have gotten sick with COVID, it is the ones who are vaccinated that ended up hospitalized or having more severe symptoms. Perhaps in your area things are different, but that is the way it is here.
