Covenant Transmog Restrictions - WHY?!

If I unlock the Wings of the Ascended on my Kyrian Rogue main, why can’t I use the appearance on my Venthyr Paladin alt? I already get bottlenecked enough going with the Covenant that sims the highest, but I’d really love to have those angelic wings on my Holy warrior!

Seriously, we all know next expansion you’ll probably lift the restrictions, so why not just do it now and let us have fun?

It took them like 14 years to lift restrictions on Gladiator mounts. Don’t count on it.

Yeah, I am disappoint I can’t mix and match.

At the same time, I understand why Blizzard made it like that. They want covenant gear to be part of the whole covenant deal. It’s part of making the whole thing a meaningful choice.

If you want to turn into a skeleton necromancer, use a Hearthstone that screams and wear Necrolord Armor, you need to be a Necrolord.

If you want Kyrian feathers on your back, you need to be a Kyrian.

Etc.

Same I made a post earlier on this. Idk why these in particular are locked to a faction. If you have them you earned them???

People bring up lore etc bro it’s too late for that you can make your rogue look like a druid and your dk look like a pally

True, but I feel like with the prepatch transmog restrictions being lifted they have some people in the departments realizing these restrictions only hamper customization and fun.

Or a tank with just some scrappy legs, a tiny buckler and a ham shank for weapons.

More options are never a bad thing.

Blizz disagrees wholeheartedly

Evidentally.

If you want to be a holy warrior with wings, you should’ve gone Kyrian.

Still waiting for them to have Justicar/Conq titles cross character…

OP said that was a dps loss for them. Why do they need to choose? They unlocked the appearance, let them wear it.

Do you need exalted rep on an alt character if your main unlocked it already? Nope. Is the game worse because of that? Nope.

Makes no sense though.
Here is the dude that represents your faction. He wears gear from the other faction which you hate its ideals.
Too silly.

Here’s this 5 foot tall elf who takes on a 50 foot fire breathing dragon.

Because that makes more sense

Meaningful choices.

I just wish it didn’t cost so much gold to change a set. Like 1000 gold just to change my look? ew.

In another 2 expansions you can

Hmm, let me think…Because your Paladin is in Venthyr which isn’t Bastion?

I tell you one thing though that annoys me a little about the wings - they block gear on your back. So I cannot see my staff on my druid. I understand why but so much for mogging my staff while I use the wings. Probably saves me gold…

This could be interesting if it lets me pull out my shield and [Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseekeer] out of nowhere.

This right here is one of the big reasons people were asking Blizz to pull the ripcord.
