I switch and wait now I am level 40 Necrolord?? No No I busted my behind to get to 80 renown so what I move over I demand I have lvl 80 renown with my new covenant. Fix this NOW!!!
First relax get rid of that word in the middle thats only gona get you into trouble even if blizzard can help u it would have to be done via ticket not via forum im not even sure what category for a ticket.
You haven’t lost what you worked for, Aperthir, but as far as I know that doesn’t mean you get to jump into a new covenant as if you did the work for them.
If you would like to see this work differently you’ll want to provide constructive feedback where our Game Developers would be able to review it. The General Discussion forum would be the best place or through the Submit a Suggestion option through the Support menu in-game.
Yeah, that’s how they said it would work. That’s been known for a while.
It’s not broken, and you have to work to impress your “new” convenant.
Always good to read the patch notes before you do anything mate =) Thats how it works, you dont get free swapping between covenants, you still need to max them out
i have an old 2nd week quest to return to venthir, now i can’t switch covenant cuz i have to do that quest, even after deleting it all covenants npc in oribos tell me to do that (long boring) quest is it normal? i tho i could just switch covenants instanly in 9.1.5
Nest time i would create a new thread ur issue is different from the OP.
yeah sure, i better do that quest and report the bug than waiting for support, i’m just asking about it
So can anyone explain what’s the difference between swapping covenant if you are renown 80 vs if you are not renown 80?? What’s the purpose of getting to renown 80 then if renown reset after swapping?
As noted in the 9.1.5 patch notes, if you earned 80 renown with your covenant then you’ll be able to freely switch between covenants.
Below 80 renown you are required to prove your dedication to them once again by completing two consecutive weekly quests before you will be allowed to rejoin.
It doesn’t reset, but it is individual to the covenant. Just because you earned 80 renown with one covenant doesn’t automatically give you that same level with another. You must, to a degree, earn their friendship.
