So I changed my faction from alliance to horde, and made my race Highmountain on my druid. When I did this, my covenant still remained as Night Fae, however now I no longer have access to convoke the spirits, covenant ability, yet my covenant with night fae is still maxed out at 80 and it now says im neutral with them. How in the world do I get back my covenant ability? I figured I was no longer night fae, however when in Oribos the covenant people still have me as night fae but now I no longer have access to any night fae covenant ability? Any help would be appreciated.
So while you are in Shadowlands zones you do not see the Covenant abilities at all?
It is expected for them to not be available outside of Shadowlands zones, questing areas, and certain instances — as that was changed with pre-patch.

What’s weird is as soon as I posted this the abilities were added in my spellbooks…super odd. Now my reputation is still neutral though when it previously wasn’t. Oh well. Atleast I got the spells back, however I have no idea how they just magically appeared cause all I did was post in the forums.
It could just have been a delay in the system updating.
However, the Faction Change should not have impacted your Covenant. If you continue to have issues, I would submit a ticket via the quoted link below.
Covenant Progression is entirely independent from Factions and will not be impacted in any way if you change your Faction. It is also unaffected by transferring your character to a new realm.

It might have honestly just needed time to catch up after the character services. There’ve been random spurts where things have gotten held up a touch and then just finally kick in. Glad that’s all it was for you!
