Just make it so that it shows the player how to use their abilities cast 1-by-1 so that we can have the ability to learn from it? I think that would come hand in hand with what the majority of people want? Kind of like Hekili does. Thank you.

Good news! A rotation helper that works like Hekili (but with better enemy target scanning) will also come in 11.1.7, the OBR just gets all the press because it’s somewhat controversial. It’s some rotation helper button in the spellbook but it’s not the one you drag to the action bar. You can try it on the PTR today if you’d like

I hope it gets visual options eventually. Being able to place Hekili’s 3 button frame just under my character is so much better than lighting up buttons on the action bar. I’d always use Hekili over the PTR rotation helper.

As long as they’re optional. I just like the button glow but couldn’t get Hekili to do that only and I finally gave up trying.

There’s another one I think called maxdps? Unless that’s not around anymore, but I remember it from years back and it did action bar highlights like the PTR helper.

^ This. The helper supposedly doesn’t tell you to use CDs and isn’t optimized per spec at all.

I highly doubt Blizz will ever provide an “optimal” rotation in game. That would require them to acknowledge how unbalanced the skills and talent options they create actually are

If you want your buttons to glow, the default blizzard UI already does that
Not the way Hekili does.
He’s not talking about “oh, you have a special use of this,” but rather “this is the optimal next button to press in your rotation” (which SOMETIMES is the same, but not ALWAYS).

What? On MM it is doing the ideal rotation, handling trick shots, streamline, sensitive to multi/single target

You could always put the one button rotation icon on its own bar right under you char, not for clicking, but to see what it shows as the next “best” spell to use. Then still use your action bars like you normally would. It wont show 3 abilities like hekili, but will at least show you the 1.

Some spells glow for procs, but the helper will show exactly which button to press.
They should add the option for the OBA to replace auto-attack.

Doesn’t the Cooldown Manager and the Ability Assist already show you what you should push next?
1-button rotation is just for those that don’t want to push “different” buttons based on what the CDM and AA are suggesting… 1BR folks just want to push one button and everything else is automated.
