Could this be the expansion that finally kills the fun and drives casuals PvP single que peeps to go elsewhere for their MMO fix or just leave the genre altogether?

I know you’re just trying to stir the pot here, but there really is truth to it.
Legion got easier on alts/casuals as the expansion went on. (Templates were great for alts/casuals, artifact research grind was nerfed, AP grind was nerfed, legiondaries were made easier to obtain).
BfA was the opposite. BfA got much harder on alts/casuals as the expansion went on (Azerite traits were made more difficult to gear around, Artifact powers were introduced as something else you had to grind, the neck grind was never nerfed, corruption made gearing more difficult, the cloak was introduced as another grind)
Unfortunately, SL seems to be shifting in BfA’s direction, introducing more gating for alts/fresh/casual characters. It drives me crazy how they can’t realize that.

SL is worse than BFA in that there I could get BIS PvP gear as a casual. Island PvP, Daily BG and Epic BG wins plus a daily chest air drop. It was fine if you didn’t chase corruption gear.
This 200 ilvl non rated conquest gear is death to the casual. I hate arena and don’t care for the drama rates bs although admittedly they can be a blast with the right team.

SLands is 100x easier than bfa lmao what. BFA was all rng, resource grinding and pveing to be viable in pvp.
