Blizzard has the receipts. The only people without receipts are pro gdkpers.
Are you seeing how stupid your argument is sounding?

“Guys let’s just choose 1k as a baseline, then make up a number range that I assume people would buy from RMT sites and compare the two, then use this grander number I made up on the spot and go ‘yeah hey guys see it’s so much better now’, especially after saying that we have no empirical data from an official source on how much RMT was even happening.”
Yeah, real basic math. Really basic. Simple, if you will. Even special, to a degree.
Make up more numbers please.
so blizzard has the receipts and he doesn’t? alright well i agree, he has nothing
I’m simply not looking it up because I don’t need to verify WHO bought it, simply knowing it happened is enough. I’m not going to fulfill your research quirks and fetishes homie and proper source siting, I couldn’t care less about your triggers on people not having data behind their claims. Everything I have said in this thread is absolutely valid and can be confirmed by anyone who actually participated in GDKPs, if you didn’t? then you just don’t know and have to take someone’s word for it, or ask around, or go watch twitch clips if you are really interested. Either way RMT is way down with the loss of GDKP and noticeably so regardless of verifiable data.
this is what we call the literal “just trust me bro”
source: i made it up
No it isn’t. It’s obvious you’re not experienced at all with gdkps.
I would probably have went with the “get bent” personally.
I’ve been keeping an eye on this thread since yesterday because i knew it would turn into another source of entertainment via GDKP “”“discussion”“” where everyone argues against a distorted version of what the previous person said.
I could not have guessed how amazing this would be though. This has been a whole new level of intentionally not understanding and misrepresenting peoples’ posts.
You’re welcome lol
math isn’t my strong suit so ur gonna have to help me with this
if you take 80% of rmt, multiply it by a jokerd stream and divide it by 3, then multiply it by 100k, then divide it by anniversary, how many guesses could you fit into 1 hour?
Very thankful for you.
I can guess a single 10k-50k gold purchase that didn’t happen.
I’ve seen ledgers where Gressil sells for more. But I think it’s a bit unfair to compare item prices on a 6 year old server to a fresh server. We don’t really know how much items would sell for on Anni.
I’ve seen an argument that MORE people are buying gold at lesser amounts on Fresh. So it may equal out to Whales? But we can’t really infer anything from that, because we’re all missing data.
I do agree, I think having GKDP would certainly lead to more gold buying. I’d love to be completely wrong though.
the 10k-50k though, it could interfere with the spectrum of my math, if its 12500 and not 37500, wouldn’t that change the average price of a firewater on dreamscythe?
The numbers are making me too lost. I need to go load up COD BO and see if I can learn anything from Mason and his numbers issue.
The fact the company has banned gdkps means his receipts in support of the ban are much more credible than yours not supporting the ban.
That would be a fair argument. That more transactions are taking place, but total amount? I highly doubt.
However the server lasted less than 2 years with ledgers of that same value before TBC. not 6, so it would be closer to a year and a half difference in server life.
The fact the company has kept gdkps unbanned in other servers means his receipts in support of the ban are much less credible than yours supporting the ban.
Remember when they called us gold buyers in sod’s cope post and they didn’t this time around? Curious. Wonder why they didn’t call us gold buyers this time.
Almost as if this was just one big gaslighting post as others have pointed out.
The fact the pro gdkpers keep making these threads in hopes blizzard changes their policy is hilarious.
The poor will do whatever they can to exploit a 20 year old game
Right, because Blizzard can totally be trusted.
