I’m not going to fulfill your research quirks and fetishes homie and proper source siting, I couldn’t care less about your triggers on people not having data behind their claims. Everything I have said in this thread is absolutely valid and can be confirmed by anyone who actually participated in GDKPs, if you didn’t? then you just don’t know and have to take someone’s word for it, or ask around, or go watch twitch clips if you are really interested. Either way RMT is way down with the loss of GDKP and noticeably so regardless of verifiable data.

I’ve been keeping an eye on this thread since yesterday because i knew it would turn into another source of entertainment via GDKP “”“discussion”“” where everyone argues against a distorted version of what the previous person said.
I could not have guessed how amazing this would be though. This has been a whole new level of intentionally not understanding and misrepresenting peoples’ posts.

if you take 80% of rmt, multiply it by a jokerd stream and divide it by 3, then multiply it by 100k, then divide it by anniversary, how many guesses could you fit into 1 hour?

I can guess a single 10k-50k gold purchase that didn’t happen.
I’ve seen ledgers where Gressil sells for more. But I think it’s a bit unfair to compare item prices on a 6 year old server to a fresh server. We don’t really know how much items would sell for on Anni.
I’ve seen an argument that MORE people are buying gold at lesser amounts on Fresh. So it may equal out to Whales? But we can’t really infer anything from that, because we’re all missing data.
I do agree, I think having GKDP would certainly lead to more gold buying. I’d love to be completely wrong though.
the 10k-50k though, it could interfere with the spectrum of my math, if its 12500 and not 37500, wouldn’t that change the average price of a firewater on dreamscythe?

That would be a fair argument. That more transactions are taking place, but total amount? I highly doubt.
However the server lasted less than 2 years with ledgers of that same value before TBC. not 6, so it would be closer to a year and a half difference in server life.
