he doesn’t want to lose his buffs so he is using protection potions before some fights to be safe, raiding as a warrior is way more fun with world buffs
That’s why I said the Flask isn’t really necessary.
The pain packs are the spot where you have the greatest chance of dying due to bad luck rather than mechanical failure, if you’re potting for those packs, then you really don’t need the flask.
Solution: play hunter. Don’t need rend, or elixir of giants or sharpening stones, or rage pots. I’d just take my mongoose, some ammo and food for cat and be g2g.
Still don’t see why you need 60% of those and double warrior for split runs? Cmon man… tbc is like what 10 months away? Just why put in all this work to be burned out before the fun expansions
farm? heh anniversary players do not “farm”. they raid log
this is true but it’s also why i find raiding with hunters extremely boring
Never has and never will hurt the game
It’s been around for 2 decades now
sure people will always say " you don’t have to play that way or you don’t need to use this and that" but not using consumes when consumes exist will makes you way behind.
so you miserably going to farm for hours/days just to cover the cost of 1time raid per week, now you know why there are millions of gold are being sold in classic almost every raider who care simply buy gold.
edit: not to mention that you still want to use some consumes in pvp for fun. so if you want to enjoy playing this game without spending 90% of your time doing mindless farm then you are forced to buy gold sadly.
If you want to play the game at a super min max level, maybe figure the game out first.
If you want to go that hard on consumables, you will need toons to earn you gold. If you have leveled 2 warriors and gotten them to rank 11, this should be a breeze. Play the game, gather your own mats and raiding will become alot cheaper.
By your own admission all gdkping would do is throw you into the rmt pool where you can accrue gold through your guilds swiping. Which is why gdkps are banned.
What is your mains name?
lol, it’s mc bro, it ain’t that serious. You don’t need any of that, other than heal pots and some fire pots.
we are much older now and have less time, but have to farm like it is 2004. that is the big difference.
exactly, this is how the majority feel right now in classic. the responses here don’t match the typical player sentiment. players want to do lots of damage and get the cool items they dreamed of for a long time. by and large they do not want to farm for 10 hours per week to raid
Or you could just stop min maxxing to the teeth if that’s not a playstyle you enjoy.
Just do both.
Pretty sure they don’t stack
The big question here is: if blizz pulls levers to make consumes cheaper, is it good or bad for the game?
- Players would be able to participate in competitive raiding even with work/busy schedules
- Gold would have less value, making farming and grinding less appealing
What’s the best answer to this?
My genuine recommendation is that you find a more efficient farm. Playing warrior without consumes and buffs (contrary to what forum dwellers will try to say), is just not fun. Unless you enjoy the personal challenge of beating those that DO have buffs while you have nothing (and your guild doesn’t mind you trying).
I don’t know what the economy looks like on fresh, DME jump runs can provide both end game herbs and mining mats, I personally used to farm mara for ghost mushrooms averaging over 100gph (this funded my way through naxx), fishing for oily blackmouth can be profitable depending on the price of free action potions etc.
If you’re really down bad and none of those options work, time to level a mage and find some place to aoe farm in a dungeon.
You might stop playing because of a problem you brought on yourself op? cmon man dont do that
If you don’t want to put in any effort to get your own consumes, then you can’t complain about costs, its pretty easy with a few hours a week to farm most of the basic stuff you need.
