So Venruki streamed last night him stacking haste corruption. He managed to get 405% haste on his mage and he was able to cast 6 Gpies in 5 sec. THIS CAN NOT BE ALLOWED. I am all for x countering y and certain specs having an advantage but there has to be room to be able to outplay someone. Unless you have an immunity you can’t beat that. Period.

It was a gimmick you cant actually do this ever in a life scenario, you cant even get half of what he got unless you fireball a hunter with roar of sac food buff and lust.

So since you didn’t understand what happened or how that was set up.
Multiple parts of that video… were unrealistic in a actual pvp setting… granted with the right haste fast cast Gpyros can be a thing but what you saw was not something you will deal with in rated arena or pvp for that matter.
Timewarp with Un nerfed Flames buff 10 stack and well over 40 corruption… granted with haste procs etc you might see some 1.3’s-2.0s but nothing even remotely close to this.
I get that the haste won’t be that high in rated no lust and traits being nerfed my 50% but the cast time of pie should never be reduced, nor should that spell exist
Edit: corruption should be pve only change my mind.

I think corruption negative effects/damage should start at a much higher mark and the growth of that corruption damage shouldn’t be as drastic.
20 corruption eyeball shouldn’t be ignored.

Was a funny video to watch. Will realistically never be set up like that. Even without lust, you’re not sitting there blowing 8 fireballs into RoS’d pets to stack haste in a game. There’s a reason on TR where Method 3v3 tourneys were played earlier this spring you didn’t see mages running around gpyroing people with .7 sec casts.
I give Blizz some credit for rolling the dice with corruption. Clear pros/cons of it, drawbacks to stacking too much, some counterplay and creativity involved, etc. Just in terms of the implementation I felt like certain effects just ended up being way too strong and generally speaking as almost all things in WoW, just stacking one or two seems vastly superior.
How about it’s not okay for Gpie to be less than 4 sec cast. Actually it’s still not okay that Gpie is even in the game. At least in SL it has a CD but it should be removed.

I’d give them credit if they released corruptions in a balanced state, especially for rated PvP. (Or, at least do balance passes after gathering data on live…)
Allowing corruptions to remain broken OP for this long is less impressive.
Champ… its part of the game… they are adding a CD on so that is cool but if you think that gpyro… is even remotely close to the top of broken things the game has allowed over the years then there is no hope for you.
We have delt with clownshoes spells items or specs since the beginning lol.

Oh I know Legion and BFA are trash and I haven’t preordered SL either. The covenants are Azerite 2.0 and it will take them a year to even make it work correctly enough to be playable.
I am really looking forward to TBC servers so I can enjoy a great game and great PvP. Bring back talent trees and actual class design please.

That is a whole different issue entirely
It really isn’t though there are 3 class roles and all of which need to be able to compete at the highest parts of the game in PvE and PvP. That is just common sense.

Yes… I think he does not realize that many of us would rather deal with Gpyro then a Guardian Druid corruption proccing TD wipes…or prot paladins outhealing the healer etc etc
Untrue… sometimes things never got changed at all when they should have.
My main point is… this game has had head scratchers… design flaws and overall “That don’t seem right” since its inception… you get used to it and everyone at one time or another gets that slot of overpowered ridiculousness. I mean with corruption vendors at least we all have bazooka’s now over just specific people rng rolling or buying to win.
To be completely honest, though, this is the wonkiest and most “head-scratching” that it’s been in a LONG time.
