  • Looking at Wowhead it appears there are 58 different corruptions (including the different tiers). https://www.wowhead.com/guides/corrupted-items-overview-titan-purification-corruption-resistance#procaffixes-void-ritual

  • There are currently 6 corruptions for sale on the vendor.

  • The corruptions change twice a week (Tuesday and Friday).

If the above is accurate, no corruptions are left out of the rotation (hello Avoidance), the rotation isn’t RNG, and it’s the same number every week then I think we will be seeing them fully cycle every 5 weeks.

Also it appears you will probably earn around 6k echoes a week just doing your normal content so every full cycle should earn you 30k which would be enough for 6 12% amplifiers which is about the max you can handle atm I think.

Not really. It kinda gives you time to farm echos in between rotations.

Yea super dumb system just put every corruption in the vendor and have it there at all times. This is the perfect example at how they only care about play time instead of game design. They want you to play and suffer many hours a day then buy stuff off the webshop and buy tokens to use on the Auction for the terrible system.

Also pretty sure adding a corruption doesn’t bind it to you. At least someone said that. If true then this is the biggest money scam in history to feed their web shop.

Common misconception here.

Since ranks are equal in power (besides ineffable), you can use rank 1 2 and 3 and stack to achieve your goal. The only time this isn’t the case is when stacking rank 1 doesn’t make you reach enough corruption to proc heart of darkness.

So realistically, it’s every 1.5-2.5 weeks, depending if you’re willing to settle with a bunch of rank 1s

I work shift work and leave for ~ 2 weeks at a time. I fell behind the gear / corruption curve and lost all motivation to come back. I see that we can buy corruption, but tough luck if its on a week I’m unable to play. Just a let down to think oh, maybe I can put some effort and catch back up, but no, not really.

This game has become miserable to play because you are forced to play everyday. You need daily’s (worst thing ever introduced into the game) You also can’t skip weeks because you need constant resources etc… Unfortunately their business model is based on played time and trying to squeeze big bucks out the players instead of the old model which was how many Subs the game had.

Why would you wait for a 475 RNG chest drop? Echoes are really hard, corrupt what you have that is BiS currently while you can.

I don’t mean to be rude but how are you entitled to the same opportunities that mythic raiders and the neckbeards have? I’m not trying to come off as a troll but I just feel like the people that complain are the ones that don’t want to or can’t put the effort in. It’s not a big deal . If it doesn’t hit this week it will hit in 5, just be patient.
