How about there were 3 demographics: this one…
Raiders who got upset somebody was getting something they didn’t deserve, while they themselves thought they deserved a lot better than what they were getting.
Also there were raiders who were fine with people who do LFR and an occasional low key getting an occasional upgrade.
And there were people who would continue to do casual content that nominally was going to give the same loot, because it might give a small upgrade. +25 upgrades were really rare. Maybe you’re thinking of your weekly m+ chest?
That last group is playing less now. They’re kind of the majority.
Was it really a good thing to disincentivize playing the game for the majority by removing their reason to play content?
