Trick question, 2008 is when Activision-Blizzard became a thing 
Correct, but Blizzard had already developed most of WoLK BEFORE Activision took over so they didn’t really have much input compared to all later expansions.

Unfortunately no, we just have to accept the fact our profession is only good for making us rich.
Can you PLEASE fix it so Conquest gear can be socketed and corrupted!! Conquest gear is completely worthless at this point.
