LOL you just let me know the part where I am exchanging a legal tender for a good or service.
As far as I can tell, using gold gathered as a biproduct of years of play to get an extension on gametime without spending any money is in fact, not supporting them financially.
That’s literally like the same 2-3 tweets used in both those articles lol.
So many people.
We really need to stop canceling people over things they said 10+ years ago, it was different times, specially in gaming, telling people to remove themselves or using slurs was pretty common place, no one batted an eye back then.
Of course. Alliance-players have been harassed and physically attacked by Horde-players so both the band and Morhaime had to apologize.
When we are at it, remove Samwise from the developer team as well. We don’t need more Horde-bias. Remove those people and bring in actual neutral developers.
oh? those tokens you purchase with your gold, they’re just genereated out of thin air, for free, and don’t come from another player buying them for dollars? MORE dollars, I might add, than if you just purchased directly?
it’s like being against the actions of the NFL, and only buying your tickets from scalpers. not supporting them, amirite?
you hold on strong to your convictions. they apparently mean a lot to you… oh, wait.
Yes. Of course. Because two examples are obviously the only people in existence and they absolutely wrote an article based off of only two people.
We don’t have a say in what Blizz does. It’s their company and their game.
Personally, I don’t need that kind of toxicity in my life, joking or not. I can ignore it. Others apparently can’t. Players and new Blizz didn’t want to ignore it in light of everything going on. And here we are.
On the one hand, I don’t think his NPC should be removed because he’s a huge nerd for the game and I’m sure that was exciting for him when it happened.
On the other hand he vociferously hates Alliance and I think it’s really funny that his NPC was removed.
So it’s a wash. I don’t particularly care. I also don’t really like Cannibal Corpse. They aren’t really my cup of tea. I think I only really like a couple of their songs like hammer smashed face, I *** blood, and make them suffer. I prefer other death metal bands that focus on creating a grim ambience rather than focusing on things as brutal as possible. I listened to Violence Unimagined recently and was like… ehhh.
In this case this Corpsegrinder character should be removed. I just read some old comments about what happened during or after the concert:
also the fact that is this same con alliance players were constantly harassed by not only horde players but Blizz staff, bliiz did not punish the people that attacked a night elf cos players so badly she was sent to the emergency room.
Cancelling people over what they said 10+ years ago is the wrong way to go about it though, people change.
I don’t even listen to the music or really know anything about the guy, but apparently he’s actually a sweetheart and a huge friend to the LBGTQ+ community.
Tim Allen spent time in federal prison and is a Felon for drug smuggling, but he turned his life around, people who dwell on the past would still be holding that over his head
I appreciate the irony of using a clown emoji after completely putting your foot in your mouth. Buying tokens, in fact, does support them financially…more so than if you just paid cash. You realize somebody had to buy that token for even more money than a month to month sub costs, right?
Hard to believe it is 2021 and so many people still don’t get this.
He’s not being canceled? His NPC is being removed so that people don’t mistakenly assume Blizzard follows his personal ideals. It’s a smart business move, if nothing else. The man himself isn’t being canceled one bit.
Yes. But this is a more faceted case here with the Horde being the favored faction while Alliance gets constantly mocked and treated as a second class citizen. I want for everyone to have fun and the Horde concert is a constant reminder that Alliance-players are less valued customer although they pay the same monthly fee as we do.
