Please rename this NPC. This should have been seen in the classic beta, it’s a quest giver in ice crown. I don’t care if this NPC is super old. When I saw it I was baffled there wasn’t an update to change it.
I don’t find the name funny. I find it disrespectful. And I guarantee you someone at blizzard was laughing as they were testing.

Corporal Maga is fine. There’s literally no relation, except a coincidental one, between this NPC and Donald Trump
EDIT: Bunch of people seem to think I want to argue politics here on the forums. Not interested. It’s just my opinion. Only reason why I bring up my feelings on Donald Trump is to show that my political opinion has nothing to do with my opinion on Corporal Maga.

“MAGA” stands for Donald Trump’s famous slogan “Make America Great Again.” There also is an NPC in Zul’Drak named Corporal Maga. She was made in Wrath, though, way before Donald Trump ever ran for president. If you’re not American, then I get why you wouldn’t understand.

First of all, this isn’t Classic.
Secondly, there’s many meanings to “maga,” including part of Krav Maga.
Third, don’t make topics of ones that have been deleted or you might find yourself on the end of a not so nice vacation.
This is going to be fun, watching all those MAGA bros trying to defend their guy…
same thing can be said for those that are against the name change given what the word now means.

This is actually a good idea. I think Blizz should actually take a poll of every word, phrase, and acronym that offends someone and completely erase it from the game regardless of whether it makes sense or not.
Oooh, okay. Thank you. Yeah, even as a European I know that slogan but I wasn’t able to link it to “Corporal Maga”. I thought of the female form of “magus”, like the wizard thing while reading the name.
