the point of the vaccine is help reduce the effects of covid 19. you still get the virus but you have a higher change of not dying. You can do w/e u want but you are risking your immune system for not allowing to do its job and it will become weaken itself. I would rethink that carefully.
Correct me if Iâm wrong, but there is a difference between not letting the immune system do its job, and not supporting it when it is needed.
Example of the first one being cleaning your house too frequently. Itâs okay to keep things dirty for a while.
Second one being not taking precautions or medicine when you are infected with a disease or if you are close to people that ARE infected.
As infallible as it may seem, even a healthy immune system near its prime like mine needs its support.
Also, again, wearing a mask feels better for me because nobody can track my face that well.
youâre going get sick eventually and no mask will save you from that but personally I donât give a F what you do with your life. Be a coward for all I care. For me come this Wednesday, Iâll take my mask off and I live my normal life without being afraid some virus. Even I get covid, my chance of survival is extremely high.
I can understand why you want to take your mask off. I donât disapprove, actually. Itâs been really boring for the past year and I want to go back to normal (and I can do that now because teens can get vaxxed)
That said, I donât think cowardice is part of the equation. Some measure of caution might be needed because not everyone can get the vaccine or is completely protected by it, and I donât want to get them sick.
I think u are over worrying. We fully understand how this virus works and now we are able to counter it. What makes this pandemic worse it become a political made it as a weapon. That why I am done with this pandemic nonsense and I believe some of people here are waking up to it.
heâs a liar. No one knew who he was until last year and he believe he some kind of a high priest who keeps lying to us and Media love this guy that much.
A very big name during the HIV/AIDS epidemic of the 1980s, as well as the Ebola scare in 2014.
So no, just because you didnât know who he was doesnât mean âNo one knew who he wasâ.
I ensure of you that people donât know who is around those time.
Those that fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
The people with healthy 12 - 20 year olds that died from it in first world nations want a word with you.
but those deaths are low.
Feel free to check the facts bro. You have a higher chance of your 12-20 year olds dying in a car accident (0.97% is the figure I believe) than dying from Covid. But feel free to use the feels instead of facts. The current CDC tracker shows for the last year that essentially 0.01-0.13 people (ages 0-24) per 100,000 were dying of covid. So when you do the math that equals a 0.00001% -0.00013% chance of dying from it per 100,000 people. You might as well keep all kids in doors for fear of being struck by lightning.
But clearly feelings are more important than facts to you.
But donât mind me, I work as a nurse at a childrenâs hospital on the covid floor. I clearly donât know anything. )edit: sarcasm)
There is no hard evidence of any long-term harmful side effects from the vaccines, but there is also no long-term data to prove that harmful side effects wonât happen, and many new drugs and treatments in the past have been found to cause harm long-term despite no initial evidence of any long-term harmful side effects. So, weather to get a vaccine at this point is a personal decision based both on an individualâs circumstances and beliefs.
There is hard evidence of long-term harmful side effects for those who have had and recovered from COVID-19, although there is no long-term data to prove how harmful or how prevalent these side effects will be. So, regardless of the mortality rate in any age group, it is irresponsible, if not prioritization of political games over the health of our children, to urge parents not to do what they believe will reduce the chance of their children getting the disease.
Oh I agree! I am absolutely, as a nurse, very skeptical on a vaccine that has already killed 4100+ people and has no long term data. I am very concerned about the state our populace will be in in 3-5 years and how many people will develop an autoimmune disease or some such.
I realize I am in the minority here, but honestly, a whole new vaccination technique that hasnât been proven yet to be safe, on top of no long term dataâŚbuckle up worldâŚitâs going to hit the fan.
The only problem with your post is the â4100+â number.
As far as I know, assuming youâre talking about deaths in the US, VAERS would be the only place that statistic could come from, and the only causal link to any deaths so far according to the data in VAERS would be the blood clots associated with the J&J vaccine. Anaphylaxis has occurred in as many a five per million (thatâs why they make you wait around after getting shot) but no deaths from that yet, and any med can cause that (clindamycin and cephalexin in my case peanuts for some folks).
If youâre talking about deaths worldwide, I have no idea what the numbers would be but considering some of the governments they would be coming from I wouldnât trust them anyway.
you are correct, I am using only the CDC numbers. I have no idea how many people have died world wide from the âvaccineâ. It really disgusts me that we have drugs that perform better than this and they have been shut down because of high death rates.
Covid? NahâŚwe are good! Who cares how many dies???
Since youâre more focused on âfeelsâ than anything else, and since you are only a nurse, I dont really see much value in your comments either, other than âfeelsâ.
If you are going to claim a health professional role at least make it an actual professional.
Wow, you donât think nursing is a profession huh?
WellâŚthereâs your sign. And why you really donât have anything intelligent to add to the conversation.
Then the number of deaths attributable to the vaccines is 3 all from the J&J vaccines none from either of the others not 4100.
The number you quote is off by 4,097+.
