I didnât watch the video but some scientists likely do have a political agenda. The ones that do are the kind that believe because they are âscientistsâ (or call themselves that) everything they say or do is correct and essentially sacrosanct. And they will do literally anything (lie, cheat, slander, collude) to protect this belief rather than practice actual science.

Not wrong, but this claim is also levied whenever people donât like what a scientist says, even if said scientific claim is rooted in reason and apparent in physical reality.
Examples:
- Scientists saying, rightfully, that itâs way too soon to re-open most stores.
- Scientists saying, rightfully, that gender is a spectrum.
- Scientists saying, rightfully, that we have very little time to curb destructive global warming.
And so on ad infinitum.

I donât think the scientists are lying to the people. I do think that if people can find a way to create a conspiracy theory, they will do so though.
I think that I have heard it all when it comes to this crazy issue.

Scientists are alarmists who tend to err on the side of caution. This is not a bad thing, in a time like this.
So scientists say, âHey, doing this stuff could be bad for the ozone layer so we should not do it.â So it makes sense to not really do that stuff, since we can find ways to do other things that donât do that. Nothing may come of it anyway, nor may it help to keep us from coming climate changes, but it canât really hurt.
So scientists say wear a mask, gloves and a face shield even. It canât really HURT. I honestly donât think it does much, or EVERY SINGLE PERSON would not get it at an entire nursing home or retirement community, when the caregivers are already in gloves and masks but it still gets spread.
Staying at home alone helps, but we younger people (Iâm 53) have to go to work in order to pay for goods and services. I canât stock the lumber and drywall from home, with some kind of elaborate drone forklift. I do work overnight, mostly by myself, so that helps.

no that dust mask your wearing isnt helping⊠unless its an anti microbial mask or a cartridge mask with the anti microbial filters its useless. the virus is flying between the mesh like its not even there⊠and yes its still traveling just as far when you sneeze⊠your just preventing the phlem from traveling.
the cartridges btw only last 4 hrs then are way to clogged to be effective
covid still has not matched the record death toll for the common flu in one yearâŠwe hads a higher death toll year in the 80s⊠no it is not worse than the flu deaths. people dont die from the flu or covid 19 or any covid illness⊠they die from complicationns caused by this type of virus⊠generally pneumonia⊠and yes it scars your lungs just like the flu. ( wear a respirator daily for my job and have to be fit tested and mask trained. yes i am a competant source for information.)
as for the politics⊠easily believed and seen. just look at which political party went full panic mode⊠martial law was not enacted so yes your full constitutional rights are still in effect⊠so no they can not unlawfully search or detain you without a lawfull reason( an edict has no legal weight in a court of law and yes the supreme court did pass a judgement in the mid 90s stating the right to travel between states is an emplied constitutional rightâŠ

You all do realize science is a concept created by humans a species subject to flaws and imperfections and you think that we are capable of measuring, another concept we conceived, things 100% accurately. That none of it is subject to political agendas and biases.

After seeing Governors ignored their guidelines and Dr. Fauci lying about the effectiveness of masks and the percent of the population that needs to be vaccinated. Lot of people are sick and tired of the lockdowns and being lied to. They are fighting back and they are getting violent.

Great! Letâs re-open the world back up and force mask mandates. As it is now, we have mask mandates, but nothing is open. If itâs â15 days to slow the spreadâ then mask accomplish this all the time, right? So, why are we still shut down?

Masks reduce transmissivity - not eliminate it.
My area has a mask mandate, and weâre somewhat open. Weâre ticking along at a steady infection rate, open up more and that number will explode.
Why does that matter? Keeping the rate low eases strain on the medical system. Cool, but it also doesnt protect people who will die from pneumonia/coagulation clots/random organ failure that the virus can cause.
Iâve already lost someone I raided with to it, Iâd rather not lose more when its preventable.

No it didnt. IIPC AR5 has held that a 2 degree net global temperature increase would be a theoretical âtipping pointâ where weâd struggle to return to our pre-carbon injection levels. The long term concern is that we shrink the % of arable land for food and screw up rain cycles that lead to droughts and flooding.
News has been spinning a story that weâre suddenly going to die, the actual message from the scientific community is different if you actually read any of the reports they put out.

Fashion is a Spectrum. Level of satisfaction with oneâs Body Type is also a Spectrum(in my case the only thing Iâm displeased with is the fact that my Body produces Waste at all)!
Itâs really cool reading this thread. Iâve seen news reports and interviews about people who are really ignorant to the situation, yet even as theyâre about to be put into ICU still deny itâs a thing. I sorta doubted anyone could be that stupid, but here we are.
So glad I live in a covid free country, because we, you know, used science.
I hope people there wake up, but I fear they wonât. I saw that morgues are using freezing shipping containers now for bodies because they are running out of room.
Just please, follow the medical advice, debate it later.
