Personally I do like the stance change, but I think making them thinner was not needed.
I still think they need to rework it all, at the very least, because most people want that.

Never been a big fan of the night elf/nightborne casting.
Nightborne desperately need soo much love.
It’s so sad seeing their options in comparison to void elves…I really hope something is planned for them in 9.1
I can’t think of anyone I know who is. They really need their casting animations redone. They are the same ones from vanilla and still… bad.
I like that nightborne look a bit junkie-ish tbh. I just wish they weren’t munted.
You are literally the only other person beside Sledgehammer to say you like Nightborne like that and that’s cool because I didn’t hold it against them and I won’t hold it against you. 
I’ve legit never seen a person say they like the nightborne like that. They all look like they just smelled a wicked fart.
To me they look like twiggy little magic nerds who may have recovered from being Nightfallen.
That’s it. Blizzard was like, If a Night Elf and a Night fallen were to produce an off spring what would it look like…
We shall call this monstrosity Nightborne and give them to the Horde.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m totally fine with the concept of Nightborne looking like unhealthy dweebs who beg for just a drop of arcwine, but the execution was kinda half-cocked. Full… uh… word or nothing, Activision!
I commend you for your imagination dear sir. While these look all well and cool, my standards and expectations from Blizz are quite low so I am hoping for some hairstyles and light hair colors at best. I like most of the hair color suggestions you made. Maybe tattoos for both Belfs and Velfs too. At least those I’d like to see first, but if a Void expansion comes out I’ll keep fingers crossed that we get even more Void themed stuff, esp those N’zoth eyes.
My expectations from Blizzard is even lower. I suspect that not one customization option will be added to any race during Shadowlands and that the next wave of new options won’t be until 10.0.

Looks like there’s a new Maldraxxus cloth set which means there’s a Maldraxxus cloth set making me want necromancers again like all of the other Maldraxxus cloth sets.
A bit disappointing but maybe it will mean better worked on stuff later across the board. I stay hopeful they will continue to preserve the last of the Blood Elf visual theme distinctiveness at least.
