Continuation of New Customisation Options for: Void Elves, Blood Elves, & misc high elves

It’s funny that the only way you can justify this argument is by implying that anyone who disagrees with you can only be doing it for malicious reasons. Otherwise you’d have to respect the idea that not everyone agrees with you, especially regarding the importance of one of the remaining visual themes void elves haven’t already taken from a race within a faction that players have been in for over a decade. No one is telling you that you can’t ask for more void elf customization, but do so honestly, not under this warped narrative that you’re somehow starved of options and everyone is out to get you.

I’d be more worried about getting some actual solid High elf lore within the Void elves, than harassing “hordies” for not being “super hyped” about having to share 90% of their race with the other faction.

You keep rambling about supporting Void elf options. Ok, then tell us your suggestions for hair colors for Void elves. Specifically for hair colors. But no more blue or purple suggestions, anymore of those and I guarantee you I’ll be back here tomorrow advocating.

The only way I will aknowledge the smallest sliver of fairness within you is if you make proper, satisfying suggestions on hair color variety for the Void elf race, because they currently stand at 3 blue, 2 purple, and 2 blue-grey choices, and nobody ever comes to me replying and making a viable suggestion which does not include even more of the same colors. No I am not interested in the exact same hair colors added and if people keep advising that I’ll be back tomorrow, and so will the High elfers, asking for hair colors for Void elves.

Which is why when it comes to thalassian Elves I want to keep natural hair colors on just Blood Elves, as it is the only defining visual feature that we have left. Oh but wait visually important features only matter on the characters that you want to play. Blood Elves having no visual way to be any different from Void Elves while Void Elves can be visually distinct from Blood Elves doesn’t matter to you because it only effects Blood Elf players.

Suggestions have been made of adding more unique features to Blood elves, such as dark ranger and san’layn customizations.

If you don’t want us to continue advocating for natural hair colors for Void elves then make a viable suggestion that is not more blue and purple, because we already have lots of those.

I didn’t realize that Void Elves already had access to Black and white hair colors. Must be something wrong on my end that I’m not seeing them. Also the Blood Elf DK blue hair color option is seen on High Elf’s in Dalaran. So it’s not like we are saying they can only have blue purple and green. They can also have black, white, pink. I personally think the pale pink shade that Nightborne have would look great on them. Same with paler shades of purples and blues.

Sure, I would be happy with white, black and a light/pastel pink. At the point where we have got now I just want some light hair colors to choose from and not be so limited. I’m a big fun of pastel pink so I’d use that color a lot.

Then be back tomorrow I don’t care what you do in your free time.

Since you have so much free time feel free to look at my past suggestions in various threads I’m sure you’ll find them if you keep coming back tomorrow as you put it eventually.

Most people here know what I’ve suggested in the past or my stance, I also don’t feel it pertinent to lobby for VE things right now because of the position of cutting in line they just had as an AR.

What I want to talk about right now is the infringements on the Blood Elf visual theme. You seem to want to act like that means I don’t support Void things or now you’re demanding a list with requirements per your own taste to see if I meet your standards of advocacy, and to that feel free to waste your time looking for my stances I’ve made on VEs in the past several months.

You throw in “or I’ll guarantee you I’ll be back tomorrow” as if anyone was supposed to care? Did it ever occur to you that no one on the opposing side cares? We don’t from what I’ve seen take opposition personally so it’s not personal. The current situation with no natural hair options aren’t effecting us as in I don’t think anyone against more HE options on VEs is saying “oh no more HE options aren’t in game for VEs right now” in fact this is the desirable situation for many of us here right now as is, it’s the continuing down the slope of infringement on the BE theme that isn’t wanted. On my personal level the threads don’t bother me to the extent if they exist, I’ll still be sharing my stance and that seems to bother only one side given the history of how that side handles opposition a lot time.

Need more hair color options. right now you only have like… two hairstyles and two haircolors to play a High Elf.

More than enough.

My high elf is pretty. She just needs some tattoos, and a nice braided hairstyle. I wish blood elves received more than what they got. :frowning:

Reminder that high elves are a sub-theme for void elves. They aren’t the primary theme.

Not so much.

I’m advocating for light Void elf hair colors I’m not here to search your threads because you don’t feel like making any productive suggestions today other than just expressing your discontent at us making a request for Velfs.

This part doesn’t really make sense to me, can you clarify?

The fact you don’t see the opposition as productive is it’s own thing.

Arguing against additional HE requests that infringe on the BE main theme is neither bad nor “non productive conversation” it is productive it’s telling Blizzard what is valued by those who hold these opinions.

It doesn’t bother me you’re here to talk about wanting more options that brings VEs more in line with what I see as infringing on BEs.

It does seem to bother you quite a bit that I and others desires for the game don’t line up with your own. But I assure you our posts being productive are working as intended when we write and post them, they just work counter to your own which I think is your issue then?

why does this one race deserve 4x the customization of anyone else? give it a rest.

I will explain why you are not being productive. You kept saying you support more Voidy customizations, without at all getting into detail about what those customizations could be. I explained earlier that Void elves’ hair have not had any updates at all since their release, and that I consider hair to be the most important feature on a character. So, if you are opposing natural hair colors, I am interested in knowing what your alternative option would be. Many seem to be fine with the idea of black, white and maybe pink colors. I’d be ok with this. But simply saying no and not proposing anything for a race that has already been implemented in the game, and which will, inevitably, eventually obtain more customizations as an existing race in the game, is counter-productive and will not be received well.

Some people play a race for their secondary themes. Me for example, i love everything about night elves, but if it wasn’t for their highborne lore maybe they wouldn’t be so interesting to me. Some blood elf players like more the farstrider theme of blood elves than the light, or magic elf theme. All races should get a good number of options to represent all their themes, including void elves. That said, it wouldn’t bother me if they don’t get more options soon, because they already look great, and there are core races lacking in customizations.
