Continuation of New Customisation Options for: Void Elves, Blood Elves, & misc high elves

You’re right. They’re an updated version for wow.

So are current Alleria’s.

They are farstrider tattoos no matter how hard you pretend otherwise.

Only reason they’ve not shown before is because blizzard only just started to give them to players…

looking at valor points I am thinking more and more they did it this way for 9.0.5 because they know 9.1 is going to take longer to get out.

This meant to give players something to do instead of gearing up completely by the end of march or april and then still waiting another 2 months before 9.1.

I predict 9.1 comes with a full valor/justice points system like it used to work but with new features expanding on what we are getting with 9.0.5 such as having raid achievements work the same way in terms of how far you can upgrade items.

So in summary I predict 9.1 comes with-

  • Gear purchasable directly from a vendor with valor points.

  • You will require achievements to both buy the gear and upgrade the gear separated between mythic+ and raid gear. This means you can only purchase raid gear if you only have the raid achievements and vice versa for mythic+

  • Justice points that can be earned from lesser PvE content that allow you to buy gear of the previous seasons.

and fel/chaos orc red skins. They are part of the horde as well. Some can be seen in the old blasted lands.

I hope you’re right. I really do. Right now the Valor system proposed feels very underwhelming to me.

The melancholy hairstyle is my Void Elf Warlock’s hairstyle but it looks way weird with blonde coloring ugh and I used to use the golden haircolor on this character for years and years and years so that makes it even worse. :scream: :scream: :scream:

Well imagine it using ANY of the Blood Elf hair colors, and with less curling. It would probably look really nice in red, brown or black.

I think it would look similar to your current hairstyle but with the drape over the eye on one side and the hair falling down the back on the other (instead of over the shoulder).

I’d have to see it before I could judge whether or not I like it or not because those Void Elf hairstyles look really off being Void Elf and blonde.

That’s completely fair. Anyway, it’s all just hypotheticals right now. We’ll need to see what Blizzard does in the coming content patches, if anything.

I lean no. Because I feel they might be completely over this entire thing and are tired of hearing about “High Elf this and High Elf that.”

I’m pretty sure very few people could blame them, I mean most people were over this topic long ago because we already exist as they want and keep asking on Horde.

It’s not over. But it is close.

Keep on beating that drum, I’m never going to support you or any of the other spammers that try to justify our race 100% on Alliance side because we are already a Horde race.

Not saying you’re wrong, but have there been any words from the devs that would make you think that? Or are you just making an assumption based on your own personal feelings?

I don’t think High Elves are really relevant to the overall subject of customization. Customization has generally received a positive reaction from players, and Blizzard is on record as saying that customization will continue through SL and beyond.

I don’t believe Blizzard would leave the allied races without any new customization, nor do I believe they would leave the core races that didn’t get as comprehensive a customization package as some others, with nothing new.

I do believe Blizzard will take shortcuts where they can while trying to add new customization. How big those shortcuts will be (straight up copy/pastes vs. making variants), is where I’m unsure.

Have to say it but you will get your copy/paste and you will like it - Blizzard.

You’re probably right… but I’ll keep holding out hope that any copy/pastes Void Elves get come from other Alliance races and not Blood Elves.

As far as Blood Elves getting copy/pastes… well I hope they get a variety of things Blood Elf players want. As a Blood Elf player myself, there’s quite a few things I want for them. I wouldn’t say no to ports of the Void Elf hair styles, nor would I be upset at snagging hairstyles and other goodies from other races!

I do want to see Nightborne get like… everything. Just… everything. That video from the allied race topic showed Nightborne with Night Elf and Blood Elf hairstyles plus glow effects for their hair! I would be ecstatic with that many options for my Nightborne!

I mainly want the wine colored hair because I color my hair is burgundy in real life, I said that previously in another thread but yeah that’s why I want it.

As for Nightborne, well you and everyone knows how I feel about Nightborne and that they deserve a better player model with way more customization options even if it’s copy/paste from Night Elves.

Taking my sarcasm as me being serious isn’t actually getting my support so.

No personal feelings, just speculation on my part from what I’ve observed over the years.

The vines + hairstyles are a planet of difference.

They look so much better with just those.

Yea, those model edits were done so well. If a fan can do that… why can’t Blizzard do that or better?
