Continuation of New Customisation Options for: Void Elves, Blood Elves, & misc high elves

I mean…at least Ion will be breaking his long silence since BfA

I am excited to see some updates to Allied Races or at least get some enlightenment as to where they are up to with that. I know some people disagree but I would like Void elves to get a hairstyle and hair color or two amidst all the customizations that other Allied Races have priority for.

IMO I think we will get an overall pass on all AR at the same time, even if VE end up being getting, lets say, less or no skin tones since they inherited so many.

When will that pass be IDK, and while I would love it to be revealed at Blizzconline, I’m more inclined to think it will be a 10.x thing, or maybe on the last SL patch.

I hope that you are right and we get white and blonde hair with Alleria tattoos in 9.1. But i won’t hold my breath as so many core races got not so much as some got. Seems odd for allied races to be now but we can dream for alliance Silver Covenant customizations that we deserve and been asking since the game began many years ago.

No matter how much you call them this, they aren’t actually called this and you have been corrected more than once by me and many others so knock it off.

For some reason they did not give markings/ warpaint to Blood elves on their customization touch up on SL release, I think they should have, not sure why they did not. Perhaps Void elves can get their own version of dark voidish blue markings only when Blood elves have got their much awaited markings/tattoos and warpaint :). Sorry If I’m not sure how to call them, I don’t know the correct term for it (not following these threads long enough lol).

It’s fine and Farstrider tattoos is what they are called, people tend to call them Alleria tattoos to try and act like they are an Alliance thing so they have a right to them but Blood Elven NPC’s have them as well it’s not just an Alleria thing.

Do they? I know the warcraft 2 rangers had them, but do any in wow?

Yes, right off the top of my head Rommath has them and they are blood red colored, I could probably build a list if I actually travel to Silvermoon but I’m busy with my Maldraxxus calling.

Those are runic tattoos tho. I don’t like ‘farstrider tattoos’ as a catch-all for belf tattoos tbh, they have designs that aren’t specific to Farstriders.

That’s what everyone else calls them, it’s even posted on different lore pages so that’s what I go by and why I don’t let it slide that people call them “Alleria tattoos” like they have some ownership for Alliance over them, I personally don’t care for them either way honestly but that’s why I call that out every time I see it.

Yeah true, calling them Alleria tattoos is like calling plate armour human armour.

But I am wearing human armor

I haven’t seen you post in quite a bit of time so welcome back and if you have been in other threads I don’t read welcome back to this one, either way welcome back.

Uhhmmm, Naughtymoon, you’re great. But did you know you said “welcome back” three times in one sentence?

Yes, I did that intentionally. Lol.

They only ever existed for this iteration of Alleria so it’s pretty specific when referring to them. They aren’t even what she had in WC2. That might have something to do with making her more Voidy. idk

Rommaths tattoos are defiantly Runic but so for only exist for him so you can call them “Rommath Tattoos/Arm Sleeves” or Runic Tattoos/Arm Sleeves.

At the end of the day it’s up to personal interpretation.

As for rather Blizzard will add them or not… Eah, I don’t think it’s happening at this point. One can hope though.
