I kinda wanna see a mockup of Denathrius with feet like this now. He’d probably look gargoyle-ish. Makes sense, what with the Stoneborn and all.
also give him thick legs and thick black horns. also big black clawed nathrezim hands. he’s too skinny to be a denathrius model. are you suggesting denathrius is some kind of dragonkin?
If you see this from the side you can tell the feet it’s more slender.
Denathrius has hooves.

in addition, if de"nathri"us is not a "nathre"zim in appearance, it wouldnt matter since nathrezim can take on the appearance of someone who died near them. so he could’ve just swiped the appearance of literally any other entity who died in his vicinity. thats why i linked the video as it explains how nathrezim take over worlds, which in this case, may also be the fate of the shadowlands.

Honestly I think that the whole connection between Nathrezim and Denathrius it’s absurd and completely unnecesary, specially as Nathrezim have been one of the few things in lore that remained somewhat consistent.
But I just don’t see the point on denying the fact that Denathrius has indeed hooves as if that changes anything. Him having hooves doesn’t confirm anything, Blizz saying that there is a connection does.
Until he takes his shoes off you don’t know what his feet look like. Digitigrade legs do not mean he has has hooves. The shape of his boots aren’t the same as hooves. The only reason any of you have provided me that he has hooves is because you all say so.
Speculative fan theories are lame as hell.
I’m not sure that some dreadlord would even be able to take out old “Totally not Dracula” and replace him. Dude seems like a big deal.
