Guyver was great, it’s like power rangers but with actual violence as opposed to sparks flying of jumpsuits.
Really? Fire is like a huge theme for blood elves with the phoenix symbolism and fire mages.

This is a people who would marry the sun if they could.
You have misspelt Eeveelutions and I do not forgive you.
Yes, absolutely fire is part of the theme but when ever has there been a Blood Elf or High Elf with “Orange” eyes in the lore. Forget about cosmetics for one second people. please.
I mean, I doubt there was one with glowing golden ones either but here we are.
Thats because the “Golden” aura of the Sunwell. The holy light and the arcane mixed “healing” the fixation of that fel addiction. Cleaning the BE of fel. Yeah you can argue that thier eyes can go back to blue but to Orange? Just because of fire huh?
just a thought here… and not entirely restricted to belfs/velfs either… what would people think about covenant specific skin tones?
like once you hit a certain renown with your covenant you unlock a special skintone that fits your theme.
kyrian blue for the kyrians, a sorta sickly green maybe with bits of rot for the necrolords, the venthyr grey for the venthyr, and maybe some sort of sparkly light blue or something for the night fae (this one i’m not 100% on cuz I spend very little time in ardenweald)
open to suggestions obviously, but I think it would be a cool way to show the effect of living in those realms and soulbonding with its residents might have on our characters.
I like that idea myself, I already have it on my list.
Though I didn’t go into lore reasons like you did.
Edit: eww I’ll have to fix that typo before I post the revised list.
Speaking for the non-people coloured races I have to say sickly green with bits of rot doesn’t drive me wild to unlock for my orc dk.
hey, i’m open to suggestions, ooohh it might be asking a bit much as far as customization goes, but how about some skeletal skull customizations for necrolords (for all races) although understandably it might be a bit harder to find something necrolord that would appeal to dk’s since, well yall are already undead.
My point was more that fantasy skin tones aren’t appealing to races with fantasy skin tones and giving undead options to everyone is kinda stepping on the toes of dks and Forsaken.
Why would Darkspear, night elves, Forsaken, Draenei, death knights, lfd, void elves, Zandalari or nightborne care about unlocking blue skin?
I’m actually surprised that isn’t an option for troll DKs. You know, with Bwonsamdi and all
because its part of the covenant identity, and its not giving EVERYONE access to undead skins, its giving necrolords specifically access to them, as the undead covenant.
fair enough point, as i said my examples where just ideas off the top of my head, and i’m open to suggestions. so do you have any other suggestions for kyrian cosmetics other than the blue? (another option I had thought of was some sort of gold tone, not yellowish but like an actual gold color with a bit of shine to it maybe a silver version as well,)
Void elves OP. I can change my skin to match Kyrian or Venthyr rn if I wanted to.
Heck, I probably will if I switch my warrior to Venthyr, which seems more likely now that my paladin finally caught Lance’s warrior in the Kyrian campaign.
I even get pseudo-Maldraxxi eyes, as seen here in my mug (though belves get these too).
I don’t see a mug. I can’t even see your hands, much less what they’re holding.
And I’m sorry but forgive me if I find that line somewhat superfluous. If you want to play an undead character, play an undead character. Forsaken already get dunked on enough without having their aesthetic permanently jacked for one xpac’s storyline. Why play Forsaken when you could play a human and swap between undead human and living human at the barber?
Death knights only skate by because they’re one class. Humans get every class Forsaken do plus more, leaving them somewhat obsolete.
I’d love to have Ascended wings visible at all times, though that’s probably a stretch to ask for.

If they did, I bet they would do what mechagnomes does, in this case, always hides cloak for it and hides back sheathing.
I also think they should just make the covenants ar’s
The problem with this is that a Kyrian for example would be forsaking their duty to ferry souls to the afterlife so they could go, what, bash in some mortal skulls in Warsong Gulch? It doesn’t really make sense.
Think about it like being a doctor and stabbing someone so you can get paid to fix them.
You kill souls to send them to the Shadowlands so you can guide them.
