I actually really like Eevee and all of it’s evolutions, they are my favorites of all Pokémon, so you get a heart and I like you even more so than I already did.
I might be out of likes… so… have a like.
Well then.
So Netflix is making a Yu Yu Hakusho Live action series adaptation and that’s just peak 2020…
I am enjoying this character so far, so I am going to post on her for now.
/waggle
(Not Avarie, nope)
I approve.
I enjoy a good waggle.
Just gotten to the part in the vynthir storyline where I saw a mirror fall on the harvestor of dread like an anvil in looney toons.
I immediately gotten the image of the anvil falling on the coyote from looney toons in my head.
I have the best waggle.
Ahh Great. I wonder if it will flop like other Anime Live Action Series or Movies?
Good choice.
Most definitely.
I can’t wait for Toguro to be an edgy teenager instead who is actually on a love triangle with Yusuke’s girlfriend.
Hey there are some "decent’ live action animes out there
Speed Racer
Kenshin
Guyver
Blade of the immortal
(The urge to name drop La Blue Girl or Cutie Honey somewhere in the list and see if anyone would notice was so powerful)
The live action GTO was pretty good too
And, should Iron Chef count since at least for a while it seemed like any anime that wasn’t completely serious had to have an Iron Chef style episode?
I find both statements to be accurate.
Also, I forgot about GTO. I wonder if it holds up. It was legit one of my favorites in college.
I think that they work best when they aren’t as effects intensive. So like Kenshin and Blade (I only really ever read the manga, didn’t know there was a live action) are basically just samurai movies with or without massive amounts of blood, GTO is a school based thing without any magic so it just works as a show either way.
And is there more than one Guyver, or is the one with Mark Hamill better than the box I kept passing over at the rental place looks?
I liked the FMA movie actually.
Also yeah Rurouini Kenshin was well done.
I forgot about this, really should look it up. Although the trailer doesn’t quite get to the point where I’ll abandon the rule I discovered at cons that it’s a lot easier for a woman to look like anime Kenshin than it is for men.
Everything is great here except for the Orange eyes for fire.
Big fat no for that one Blizzard, okay?
There are two Guyver’s, but I’m talking about the one with Mark Hamill. It’s B-movie (at best), but it’s gross and fun and he turns into a giant bug! All practical effects by legendary artist Screaming Mad George!
