My spec is in the bottom 5.

The Emeriss fight basically consists of a hopeless zerge, desperately trying to get her down, with corpse runs being so part of the fight they’re basically a mechanic.

She puts a DoT on you that does tons of damage and leaves behind a mushroom when it expires. You also always leave a mushroom when you die, period.

The mushrooms pulse big AoE damage. In the original fight you were supposed to kill them, but the event ones have always had way too much health to bother with for whatever reason. So if you have the DoT, or you’re gonna die, you should move away from the group so that you don’t place an inconvenient mushroom.

But she also throws around clouds that “put you to sleep” (actually a stun for some reason), and she has a tendency to turn suddenly and yes, she tail whips. So often times you won’t get the chance to move away before you drop mushrooms.

Oh, I forgot to mention. She also has an aura that makes everyone within 100 yards take constant damage. Basically a free, permanent DoT on everyone she’s in combat with.

This sounds like a fun fight. The best zerg rush is a hopeless zerg rush.

I played against the boss. It be a nightmare, both in mechanics and player toxicity.

I think I have either gotten really lucky with my limited player interaction or just am that good at not worrying about other players because I rarely, if ever, have to directly deal with player toxicity.

This is crazy given you encounter toxicity in all parts of the game these days, from hardcore to casual and usually just joining a random battleground or random dungeon will get someone on your case about something. Lol.

I’d have to imagine Zareem is part Steel type. Steel types are immune to Toxic after all.

I wish I was like that, I have people come from the other side and make alts to yell at me about stuff, for example other day in The Maw I had someone come yell at me for killing something too fast and so they didn’t get to hit it, I was like okay then. Lol.

Saw a lowbie spam killing another lowbie that was like 20 levels lower once so I ganked them a few times to then get a lecture from the ganked one about how I’m terrible at the game for ganking and how I’m lucky that their main is Horde.

Saw them ganking lowbies at level 120 a few weeks later.
I killed them a few times pretty easily.

We saw who the terrible one was Ig.

That’s super lame. The trick I find is to either put them on ignore right away, or lean into it and just bait them for as long as possible. It can be real fun.

Hahahaha, too funny how toxic some people in game are. :joy: :joy: :joy:

Yeah I thought it was crazy because it wasn’t even like a rare mob it was one of those bonus objective ones that pops back up in like a minute or two and he was telling me how horrible I am and why did I burst it so much, I was thinking I solo stuff most stuff in The Maw so the faster it dies the better off I am. Lol.

Maybe they were just having a really bad day and, unfortunately, took it out on you. Which is totes un fair.

Someone did that to Lance once, because they couldn’t kill him in the Stranglethorn arena to get the chest. They made an alt named Lance(offensive word here) to whine at him for not giving up on the chest.

I gotta know what it means now.

Yesterday we were in a BG and it was the classic blame x blame y thing because we were losing. Two of us got tired put them in their place and ordered them around.
We ended up winning 1500 to 1492 lol.

It was the r word.

Yeah, I remember that. Funnily enough, two people wandered by not long after and asked me if I needed a hand securing the chest. I said yes, so they took they guy down for me and let me loot the chest.
