I´m serious here!!! (not really)
Or, and hear me out here…

I actually gave you arguements, your the one trying to start a flame war. You be you. But no worries, no voidadins will never be playable.
True, but if they kept wc2 death knights in, the current death knights would not be named so. Anti-paladins is such a lousy name.
Ashes to ashes they say.
/sighs
ok Man, you want serious, you get serious.
Your arguments are polluted by double standards. I know it is annoying, even somewhat fearsome to see something one loves and appreciates become meaningless, but regarding Paladin lore, well… it already happened.
Happened to “The Light” as a lore concept since TBC itself. In which coherent narrative the sentient positive magical source that has been sold as “the mark of the good guys” leaves an entire species that trust it and worhips it die for the lols? Have you read “Blood of the Highborne”? If not, read it, cause then you WILL understand the stance of the Blood Knights up to pre-Sunwell raid patch perfectly. Those High Elf Priests desperately tried to heal the soldiers they were tasked to protect, and at no point they “lost” their faith, never in the middle of combat against Arthas. And the Light simply stopped working. And they had to watch their comrades die in gruesome ways while their were impotent to prevent it. Galell literally had to witness ALL the freaking innocent elf children DROWN in front of his eyes because his healing magic stopped working for him in a crucial time (at the end of the story when Liadrin literally euthanized him -yes the use of the word is correct, guy was in perma suffering- do you know what he tells her? “Sometimes it sounds like glass, (…) sometimes it sounds like twisting metal. And sometimes… Sometimes it sounds like children screaming. Hundreds of them.” That´s messed up. That implies Mu ´ru was NOT an innocent victim, it literally backslashed using the elves´ former traumas against them (the reason Galell became an addict was supreme guilt at failing to save the children, he after all promised them everything was gonna be allright… that they were gonna be allright).
That Liadrin you LOOOVE to classify as a Mary Sue? Had to witness the man that raised her as a priest and who was practically her adoptive father -real parents killed by Amani trolls- A.K.A. High Priest Vandellor, bestie of Grand Magister Bel´ovir… not exactly a “rando,” be torn to pieces by zombies while alive trying to save her, and after that, she had to confront his zombie self while executing the plan to destroy the corrupted Sunwell. The story portrays her as clumsy at the time -no wonder, she had literally 0 training hour managing a truncheon- and when she sees the raised body of his beloved father figure walking towards her (that´s another detail btw, undead in the story aren´t “World War Z” death machines unless a Necromancer is directly manipulating them, they actually are more like normal zombies with slow gaits and overall clumsiness) she literally panics and starts chanting “I cannot do this. I cannot do this”, and has to talk herself into doing it while avoiding looking into the corpses´eyes. Full of anger and despair she decapitates it and -with all justification imho- curses the light.
After that day, she spent 5 years alone like a recluse literally working as a footsoldier and killing zombies in the Ghostlands. While managing debilitating addiction. Certainly NOT a Mary Sue. Far from it.
And then years after being told repeatedly over and over that undeath is a curse especially awful cause it prevents “positive” magical influences like “The Light” (or more properly, the positive aspects of the Light influencing the Undead), we get special cookie cutter Calia Menethil, that like Med´an, is the one hit wonder / one trick pony special snowflake of her kind. The rest of the characters (up to more recent than her Venthyr)? Yeah, sucks for them, they still have to become mad, ugly and useless if they get touched by even a little bit of Light. They become “euthanize worthy” individuals while she floats from one side of the narrative to the other saying stupid stuff and getting complemented while doing so.
And we haven´t even got to the “Yrel became a fanatical murderous zealot in favor of massive brainwashing cause Bigger Windchime told her to” part.
Ergo, my point: the lore of this game can be bended, WILL be bended if the devs decide there´s gameplay potential to exploit. And maybe it will be harsh to hear, but some people on your Helfer side of the fence are VERY vocal and VERY stubborn and certainly not shy at all in the pursuit of their goals. Regardless on how ridiculous and lore breaking and sometimes even stupid the things they vouch for are.
The moment the devs decided to compromise the exclusivity of the Belf model WAS the moment the lore protecting it became irrelevant. And this unfortunately for us includes people asking for Void powered Paladins -also, rest asured, those people asking for that class combo? they care exactly NOTHING for the lore, they just want to play a human esque paladin in anything but model (Human model probably too ugly for their tastes, casue let´s be real, Paladin is also NOT a core lore feature for High Elves. The very creation of the Blood Knight Order told us so -simply put it, Paladins didn´t exist as a military corps in Quel´thalas-, when Farstriders disliked them for petty reasons all things considered).
Personally, i hate the very thought of a Voidin, it think is the most stupid thing ever (up there with “Drust esque” Kul´tiran druids -i mean class based upon Life magics using… death themed stuff /facepalm); but people wants them, and they will continue to want them 10 years from now. and if giving them that will make them shut up about more dangerous options (like making Belves neutral for example) then I will take my chances with this. Maybe the people only interestyed in the cosmetics will actually support the Belf fans and help us drown the actual detrimental “muh neutral Silvermoon” “muh Belves kicked from Horde” etc. ridiculous petitions when they come -cause fear not, those will come in the future too-.
Cough Abandoning the Forsaken.
The Light: You Forsaken are ugly. I’m not touching you!
Also the Light: Ooh, Calia! She thicc!
The ubber special bening “Light”, that did abandon an entire country to suffer at the hands of a Maw concocted curse. Such a “good guy” /s
Also, we talking about Calia here too? Cause I´m 100% in agreement, that “thing” is basically trying to play the mom that went to the store one day and returned after 10 years trying to pretend nothing unusual happened. And getting applauded by characters left and right regardless on how moronic they end up looking /keeps an eye on Lor´themar
Disgusting.
You lost the chance to be taken serious as soon as you started to troll, not reading the wall of text.
just because you hate the lore, don’t make the lore obsolete in the games sense, specially since it drives the narritive.
If you hate the lore so much I suggest you to play another game
I mean, the light is not wrong.
Hard to deny Calia’s curves.
“You´re NUT muh mum and I wun´t read your post cause muh upinion and muh integrity of muh PALLADINSSSS!!”
Pot, meet kettle. Ty for proving my point on you acting like nothing more than a MHP poster fanboy.
Will take this into account to disregard your evident lack of criteria in the future, dude.
I’ve never really seen the light as a “good guy” force at all. It’s just one of the many power sources available. Tappable like any other as long as you follow the rules involved.
I don’t think the Light ever cared about right or wrong. The people who weild it may have thought it did though. (never trust a Naaru).
That’s just my opinion though.
The long post about Liadrin is great.
Also. Randomness:
Biiiirds! Birds birds birds birds!
Lameolas.
Game mechanics ≠ lore.

Has there been any Rule 34 on her? Cailia.

Hickory dickory dock.
I’d like to kick you in the…
Why you hurt me so making me remember the awesomeness (yeah I know that´s probably a nonexistant word but let me be) of pre Sunwell raid´s Blood Knight brand of worship. I never saw any issue with them Belves treating the Light just the same as Arcane or Fel -as a mere energetic source, period-. I´d kill to get that lore stance of Light practicioning back on Belf society.
