Continuation of New Customisation Options for: Void Elves, Blood Elves, & misc high elves

I would just prefer they not be lazy and rip off Blood Elves and instead make some new assets instead and use some other palettes.

It’s Blizz we’re talking about.

I really don’t think they should do natural hair on VEs save for white and black that work with the Void theme.

I’ve always tried to extend support and understanding to HE fans but I really think Blizzard should notice BE fans and the visual uniqueness left being in complete disparity with VEs having two visual themes.

That’s just my stance.

bird elves

Sorry Hordies, my love of High elves a fictional race in a video game exceeds my need to be a decent human. And more importantly being a decent human to other people in real life.

Just the type of behavior I expect from WRA.

Daily reminder that I will let helf fans have whatever they want as soon as I can get Blizzard on board with spider elves. Get on board with the real change!!

If it results in more Nightborne customization options, I’ll always support it – while we’re at it, let’s get some of those Fel-infused NB aesthetics (and, heck, NB Demon Hunter isn’t that far-fetched).

I accept your proposal. Let’s forget about H/V/B Elves and lets get NB looking as sharp as we know they could and also
 spider elves.

Though your reputation precedes you, I’d like to make sure I understand your take correctly:

You do not want Void elves to have High elf options because that would make Void elves less unique, yet at the same time you acknowledge that Void elves already have the High elf options that players desire, and therefore they should be satisifed.

Does this not imply that Void elves have forfeited that uniqueness already? In this case, what is there to lose? Or do you argue to preserve whatever uniqueness is left?

If the latter is the case, surely you may atleast be able to acknowledge that what Void elves currently have is not what everybody wants?

Assuming this is your actual stance, do you believe any other of the races with an allied race counterpart have lost their aesthetic uniqueness? Or this an “us versus them” thing with Alliance and Horde?

None of the other allied races took the EXACT model of an existing race and pasted it over to the opposite faction. So thats not really a valid argument here.

Well, some took the exact model. But they didn’t use the exact skin. Like if Mag’har had gotten green skins with SLs I would feel, I would say rightfully, that my beloved Durotarian orcs had lost a bit of uniqueness.

What about Highmountain Tauren? Lightforged Draenei? Mag’har? Dark Iron?

Besides, it wasn’t an argument but a genuine question.

Yeah but the models for the orcs are still on horde side. They didn’t give orcs to alliance.

Theyre all in the same faction

Oh I getcha, sorry I misunderstood.

So for you it’s an Alliance vs Horde thing.

That’s fair enough, I didn’t give an argument so there’s nothing to agree or disagree with.

It’d just be an exchange about perceived uniqueness boiling down to agree to disagree.

I don’t think anyone’s denying this, but Void Elves already have most of the look that people want down. Would I like more? Sure. Do I need it? No.

No other AR comes as close to the parent race as Void Elves do to Blood Elves. I imagine crossing the faction line is part of it too, but I don’t want to speak for other players.
