Blood/Void/High Elf compilation of (likely) suggestions.

Blood Elf Additions/Improvements-

-Subraces

  • Dark Ranger Skin tones and Red Eye as options, and possibly Tear Mark options.
    This would allow players to play Dark Rangers and give players another Elven Theme.
  • San’layn Fang, Claw and Bat-like Ear options.
    San’layn options could be done through a Night Warrior style quest in Revendreth or explained by NPCs in Silvermoon.

-Markings & Scars

  • Magical Rune Tattoos like the Burning Crusade Box Art and Magister Rommath.
    The Runes can potentially have the option to glow in Green/Gold/Blue/Red to show Fel/Light/Arcane/Blood magics, in a similar fashion as Blood Elf Eye Colors.
  • Makeup and nail polish options.
  • Scars and Burns as well as Damaged Ear options.

-Accessories

  • More colors for Jewelry. Including Black/Rose Gold/Dark Silver/Bronze/Copper Options.
    This would allow it to match more outfits and mogs better
  • More Jewelry Types. Including Chokers and Eye/Nose/Lip Piercings.
  • Metal Feather Decorations for Hair/Ears.
  • Jewelry & Feather options for males.

-Hair

  • Strawberry Blond Hair Color.
  • More Braided and Longer Haircuts for both genders.
  • Nightborne and Void Elf styled Haircuts.

Void Elf Additions/Improvements-

-Subraces

  • Official Lore stating that High Elves and Void Elves are merging in some way.
    Potentially by having Alleria’s troops from Allerian Stronghold in Outland follow her or by having Void Elves join with the Silver Covenant in some fashion.
  • The High Elf Shade of Purple Eyes.

-Markings & Corruption

  • The option to hide/customize the appearance of Entropic Embrace.
    This could be done like Worgen/Human forms and range from no void corruption to larger void corruption then now.
  • Void Marks/Scars.
  • Markings like Alleria.
    This allows players to have the “Alleria Fantasy” for both Void Elves and High Elves and shows that they are followers of her. In Voided and Non-Voided options.

-Hair

  • More hair color options in White/Black/Blond/Brown. Possibly Strawberry Blond.
  • A toggle for tentacles, similar to the toggle for Night Elf Vines, for all Haircuts.
    This allows more variety in Haircuts for both people who like or dislike the tentacles.
  • Human and Night Elf styled Haircuts.

-Ears

  • Ear Size options.
  • Void Tipped Ears.

Since I can’t quote the post from the old thread, I’ll just use this.

Wow, we certainly have different opinions of Tauren. They’re between C and D in my opinion of what we’ve seen so far. Where’s the scars, where’s the broken horn options, where’s anything like horn ornamentation? If night elves get how many categories just for facial hair, can’t we get the option to either mix and match, or just have a selection of broken states for each horn type that can be applied to either or both sides? And what about the hooves? if they’re going to stick with 1-2 pairs of boots in the game total per armor type that actually show up, at least let us customize the hoof.

Another day, another dropping of Farstrider tattoos from belfs for some reason.

Velfs and belfs should both get the farstrider and runic arcane tattoos. They’re the same peoples.

Also grimtotem representation shouldn’t be a big ask of Blizz. A group of them rejoined the Mulgore tribes even if you nix the larger body.

And how about a Taunka theme?
Yuangol?

Both of those would preferably make better AR’s but still. Blizz has plenty to pull from for Tauren that just isn’t there.

I don’t get the guys gatekeeping of Farstrider tats. If he’s unwilling to include them then he’s acting in bad faith and should remove Blood Elves from his list entirely as he doesn’t have our best interests in mind.

Male Blood Elves are second class citizens at the moment. We have no manly counterpart for all the JeWeLrEy that female Blood Elves are getting.

It’s like second life all over again.
