If anything “unique” was to be added at this time, I would expect it to be added to Blood Elves not Void Elves. Anything allied races get now I’d expect to be “hand-me-downs” from their parent races if they get anything at all.
Speaking of, Lightforged Draenei still need tail length options.

It’s also making me worry that the “High Elf” additions are considered a separate theme by the developers. So to them they might have already filled that quota.
Depends if we are in the Allied Race pass. Or if that’s going to be its own thing.

That can’t possibly be true in the case of Blood Elves because Blood Elves are High Elves.
Void Elves it counts as a second visual theme for the obvious reason of their Void main theme was blue toned skin tones.

I’m not counting on an “allied race pass” before 9.1 at the earliest, and more likely not until 9.2. I try to keep my expectations low >_>

folks. its the first, FIRST normal eyes for elves! i wonder if nelfs and nb could get some normal eyes too?

Well they are types of High Elves, they where well defined groups until the Blue Eye Datamining Fiasko caused a ton of outcry.
So they did the eye/skin swap. And Blood Elves where not granted a new “Theme”. Just some “High Elf” stuff.
Now we are seeing a Eye Color added to both. To go along with “High Elf” stuff. And no acknowledgment of the Dark Ranger/San’layn stuff as of yet.
It’s starting to seem that is what they think. At least I fear it is.

I’ve been asking for specific Blood Elf things for years now!
I hope so too. I want Blood Elves to get the Darkfallen options. And even failing that, they just didn’t get enough stuff compared to other races IMO.

I don’t intend on being quiet if we don’t get anything for Blood Elves and people continue advocating for stealing our theme either.
Non-glowing eyes for nb and nelves would be nice, but I don’t expect it.
Such eyes were present on Thalassians via the female helf NPCs before pre-patch, so there’s some basis for that. Nb and nelves, sadly not so much.

well rest assured, most of the people in the thread dont want belf hairstyles. but i would like white hair and black hair. that’d be the perfect…oh and that new human female hairstyle i’m such a fan of…oxhorn. wonder how that’d look on a velf.

This is very much my stance on the matter. Especially with Blood Elves only having our main visual theme.
hehe just white and black hair, some other hairstyles not from belfs. preferably with braids/buns, that sorta thing.

No I don’t trust that. I believe it’ll set the precedent for wanting absolutely everything.
I’m neutral on the whole hair situation myself. The Void Elf hairstyles have really… grown on me.

You don’t have to be quiet Lann… but remember that if half your efforts are going towards “don’t give Void Elves these things!”, that’s half your efforts not going towards “give Blood Elves these things!”.
You’re less likely to get the options you want for Blood Elves added if you don’t keep your requests for those options in the devs field of vision.
