now that you mention it, what would nb hairstyles look like on velfs and what would velf hairstyles look like on nb? hmm.
Oh, NBâs hairstyles look great on VEâs tbh! I remmeber also swapped the ponytail with bangs on one of my edits
did you see/do the model edit swaps for kulâtiran and human hairstyles on velfs?
Did see them, they are awesome! didnât do them (I did one where I loaded Kul Tiran hair colors on VEâs tho)

well we are elf fans here, mostly. so even elf scribbles, elf concepts, elf stuff that will not happen, elf stuff thatâll likely not happen, and elf stuff thatâll happen eventually, gets the same enthusiasm. and it doesnt matter what kind of elf. belf, nelf, nb, velf, its all equally met with enthusiasm. you could post a pic of just about anything elf related. lol
Iâm a Blood Elf fan first, and a VE fan, and NB fan. Iâm still working on trying to like NEs I wish they had Paladins.
i just made my shadowlands nightborne. sheâs a priest. has that dark teal skin color and black hair. she looks cool. named her tealheal. hehe
If NB get decent model work I will make my priest a NB, heâs a NE currently but I love NB lore and the silhouette NB shadow priests have idk.
I Iike the nightborne. My main Horde character is one. I may post some of her mogs later.
A pity they didnât get improved, but Iâm confident theyâll have their turn to shine.
Nightborne literally got nothing. I would have assumed blizz would add some eye colors but alas they did not.
They got some jewlery at least, right? Allied races will get their turn in due time
Oh yeah forgot about that one.
Iâm sure they will. I just figured every race would get some eye tints.
Draenei not getting at least Velens purple is so odd to me.
Definitely strange. Folks should be able to look like their racial leader imo
Well Iâm a little doubtful as you also feel Blood Elf options of customizations were decent.
Just like lightforged draenei, dark iron dwarvesâŠ
Itâs obvious that allied races werenât in the plans. The ones that did improve got mainly eye colors. Void elves only got skins because they are the same ones as blood elvesâ.
Even among main races, some got far less than others. Humans, orcs, tauren and night elves were the ones that got the most.
But letâs be patient, there will be more to come, and allied races will get their turn.
This is what I mean though.
I expected with the separation of eye and face theyâd add a few at least to ALL races.
At least a core race like Draenei.
And donât get me started on LFD not getting tail length.
Oh donât get me wrong I donât expect it now.
Iâm just surprised what was seemingly left out.
I canât say about eye colors (I also expected every race to get it).
On LFD tail length, itâs strange that females didnât get the long tail option, since the model already has it.
BUT, as someone who works on development, I know even âeasyâ and âsmallâ adjustments cost resources, and sometimes the pressure forces us to push seemly little details further so resources are allocated on more urgent matters.
Also, decisions are often taken months in advance to implementation. So, I think most of the customizations we got were planned six to 12 months ago, and many ideas came after and are waiting their turn on the production line.
Just like allied races didnât end with BfA launch, Iâm sure customization will keep coming over the course of SL, and probably still come, albeit not with the same focus, once 10.0 undergoes production.
Oh definitely. Iâm sure weâll see it down the line and it was likely a casualty of time and resources. If not just an oversight with ARâs being meant to be worked on at a later time.
I do hope so. Iâm concerned that it appears theyâre done with ARâs for now and trying to roll races into core race customization instead. I think this is a major mistake.
