Sorry mate, but I doubt this so much. An incomprehensible amount of doubt is flowing through my mind. You cannot even begin to imagine the level of doubt I have about this.

Or who simply weren’t around Silvermoon during the reconstruction.

You won’t regret it! Just don’t share it with anyone who won’t share their candy with us. Especially since we already shared our candy with them. :unamused:

This^. I kind of doubt any Alliance-aligned High Elves would abandon the Alliance now, of all times. It’d be incredibly selfish and out of character for what they’re supposed to be like.

Really, their explanation for it is pretty limited. Functionally eye color is a stylistic thing and they’re just uncoupling it from the names.

Well, they did betray their own people over a diet.

i would think any thalassian hooked up to the sunwell, should be able to have light based tats, because its not just emitting arcane. its both at the same time. and its like naaru powered. just cause the naaru isnt embedded in your torso, doesnt mean you arent being fed a constant stream of light magic

Man, I missed some drama.

I’m an 18 year old gay guy with 4 immigrant grandparents. So not only have I not been alive that long, but I was raised from a young age and taught to not judge others for their race/gender/sexuality as all of my family experienced racism when they came to America. My dad was beat up in his highschool for being the Irish immigrant, my Grandma was too scared to teach my mom to speak Spanish because she’d be made fun of for it, etc.

And growing up as a gay kid you learn quickly how much words can hurt you, a lot, and don’t really feel like making other people feel that way.

It’s sad that you think it’s normal for people to say vulgar slurs, though.

Shh, it might come back.

And siphoning living creatures. And allying with the people that have been at war with them for a long time.

Yeah, pretty selfish. Especially after all that had happened to the homeland.

Yes, it is normal for someone to say a slur at least once in their life before understanding the meaning behind it
You most likely have said that word sometime in your life even if you don’t remember it. My doubt remains.

I don’t really view it as selfish, but their decision was obviously a questionable one. I think it’d be extremely out of character for an Alliance-aligned High Elf to join the Horde, though. These blue-eyed Blood Elves should be just that–Blue-eyed Blood Elves.

Don’t worry, I only share with people are morally upstanding and completely trustworthy.

I think that ‘character’ construct around Alliance high elves is more a mythology of Alliance high elf fans.

Eh, maybe alliance-aligned high elves, but I wouldn’t be surprised if neutral High elves have decided to rejoin Silvermoon, and by extension the Horde. After all we’ve already seen examples of High elves who have no problem fighting, and killing the Alliance themselves.

We can’t say on one coin that these blue eyes for Void elves means High elves, but the blue eyes for blood elves just means blood elves. That same logic could be applied to both groups after all.

If their main issue was tapping mana wyrms, those conditions have changed.

and if they didn’t like the mana wyrm diet I have some news about the void diet.

We’ve seen plenty of High Elves around, those who have random flavor dialogue and quests. We’ve see them in Stormwind dressing like humans too. And even if we don’t know what every single one of them is like on an individual level, we know why they didn’t join the Blood Elves. Their reasoning for not joining the Blood Elves alone should explain why it’d be out of character for them to suddenly want to rejoin them.

There’s a few different groups of them
with different motivations. Different groups had different reasons. Some of them might be ready to come home.
