I think they’re trying to explain their discomfort at the idea of not having options other than the ones they’re seeing.
I think we’re just arguing past each other here and we’re not as far off as it may seem.
Still wrong, and shouldn’t be supported, or backed up, which only serves to validate that type of hateful speech and rhetoric toward others. Regardless of what they might have possibly meant, what they said was wrong, and that needs to be emphasized.
Except your the same person, so I can make rational correlations from your behavior here, and discord. Clearly you think it’s okay to use those sort of phrases among others, so I hardly doubt you’d be able to grasp why people are offended by what was said here.

Light is a part of what Blood Elves are know. Those themes are already there just underdeveloped.
That is because they are largely an arcane society, only a small faction of them is about the light.

It’s fine Hyper, I simply don’t tolerate hateful rhetoric. I’m glad you did mention it because I, for one, would love more feminine male Blood elf themes, especially thinner (less bulky) males. It’s a pipedream, but an entertaining one. <3
I have though, and I don’t believe it’s any coincidence that the same person who would use that phrase, is also having a hard time grasping why people might be offended by homophobic comments.

It’s more reasonable than expanding their fel themes.
lorewise, only for paladins and priests, the society at large is returning to blue eyes with fel users keeping green eyes. Of course they won’t restrict it for customization options.
Eh, from what Lady Liadrin said, it seems that quite a bit of them are sustained by the light, since at the point she was referring to Blood elves as a race, and not just her and the Blood knights.
The Sunwell is considered “central” to Blood/High elf society, and the fact that it’s largely light suggests that many have embraced the light - it’s the whole rational as to why non-light wielding classes can have gold eyes.
I might be forced to keep golden eyes as a warrior, if they don’t unlock red eyes. The others don’t fit as well.
