That one second from the right looks⊠familiar somehow.
âŠnope, canât place it!
Sadly, I wasnât able to get the name Wayfinder on my server. But I did manage to find this other Thalassian surname, so thatâs pretty cool.
Thoemus and you is requesting a lore-breaking change. I disagree and stated my reasoning. Which seems to insult you guys. Too bad.
Factually false, you brought me into your very public conversation by linking my posts. You then falsely accused me of insulting your âintelligenceâ and then called me a racist, all the while using gas lighting incorrectly. At the very least you did apologize for it, which I will accept, how ever I believe you need to take some time on your own to learn fully what it is, how it is done, beyond the symptoms I described.
I have not said a single time about any racial issue, nor do I care about that until you dragged me into it. I could care less if your skin is turquoise with violet hair, everyone is equal to me. And since you keep mentioning it⊠If it donât stop I will bring a mods attention to it and make it stop.
This includes the others talking about it too.
I believe they forgotten that the shendelar existed and did not make customizations baised on them
Well if they did that, they might as well make it into a separate race anyways honestly. And itâs still a problem being called void elf when ever the game addresses your race.
Edit to make it clearer what I am addressing.
agreed but ion doesnt seem to want them to have that big of a footprint
Also to answer your question from the same post,
I would say the racials should be ranger themed to include the HE that renounced magic. Forgot there name lol.
That is why I suggested half-elves or multi-racing lf as possible solutions.
Highvale.
I think itâs more that they didnât intend them to be playable. Kinda like Broken, theyâre only there to be class trainers. Which sucks for both Shenâdralar and Broken imo. They should be playable in some way.
continuing my thoughts: the only way helfs are playable is if you play a belf or velf. in the belf situation, they just go straight high elf without the added taint of the void and they are playable from level 1 without having to do special quest chains 110 levels into the game. this, by itself, limits how many helfs will be made on either side, especially on alliance as our velfs arent even accessible till the end of the game, after a comprehensive series of quests. and not all velfs will want to select helf options. same for belfs. some will prefer traditional belf or traditional velf customizations.
since belf helfs are still considered to be belfs, helfs only technically exist on alliance side and then only outside of being a velf. like velf helfs are not technically helfs - theyâre velfs. the only way we get helfs is if they let us change our velfs into helfs, formally - then an argument can be made for playable paladins. in other words, by the process i mentioned earlier - if you select the fairer human skin color option, you switch to being a helf and your options are all helf related with hair and beard options exclusive to alliance, some classes denied, and 1 new one added - the paladin
Dude, did you just tell someone to kill themselves on the forums?
But that donât address the fact there name is still strictly VE, and still use void racials, which conflict paladin lore.
Thanks lol.
It really is a shame, I was hoping the first batch of allied races before they announced what races they where was HE/broken alliance, and Ogre/forest troll horde ( if I remember correctly on the forest troll part lmao)
Thaloâdan Privateers are high elves? I say yes
The Allied Race system seemed to be originally intended as a sort of âpremium raceâ thing, so Lightforged Draenei and Highmountain Tauren were likely shoe-ins.
Also, Nightborne were an obvious choice to go to one faction or another, though they shouldâve actually updated the NPC models into playable models instead of what we got.
Adding on to that thereâs also Gilveradin Sunchaser.
He hangs out near QuelâDanil, but is friendly to both Alliance and Horde, and explicitly gives the Horde a few quests, but nothing to the Alliance.
Agreed on the nightborne model. I feel sorry for nightborne players for having to deal with that broken model.
he has orc friends in orgrimmar
