This is unironically some incel stuff man, take it down a notch.
How does that have anything to do with wanting to prevent negative stereotypes? And you still didnāt answer my question; how does the way another man dress, force feminization on you?
Half elf customization would be great.
If you donāt want to play the fair skinned, blonde haired raceā¦ donāt play it?
I have Dark Red Hair tho.
Iāve always liked the jewelry what I donāt like is that itās being added as the main addition as opposed to a second visual theme, in Dark Ranger stuff. More light visuals for our light themes, and tattoos.
Iām also gay and yeah I would enjoy the jewelry on my male characters and I donāt think that should be taken away or put down, my only contention with it is itās very superfluous to actual other ideas / things for BEs, from Farstrider tattoos to box art runic tattoos.
I also reeaaaaallly wanted this on humans. Iām heartbroken to see that itās probably never going to be a thing
Are you aware that calling it a stereotype invalidated people who actually represent themselves in that way? Do you not see how calling them a negative stereotype is hateful?
Iāll stop putting jewelry on you while you sleep.
I make no promises about viking stuff.
That explains the random piercings in suspicious places.
If you donāt want to play the fair skinned, red haired raceā¦
I actually have tanned skin on my Belf, so itās not really fair skinned.
Case in point, Mr. T
Yeah as a gay guy who was excited to make a male Belf wearing jewelry itās kind of gross to see someone calling it ādisgustingā and āforced feminizationā, especially when said person claims to be a member of the LGBTQ community.
Maybe the problem is their outdated and stereotypical/sexist beliefs instead of Blizzardās customization options.
That was more to do with his personality than jewelry.
Why is it problematic? How does representing a real demographic harmful to you if you have the option to not partake? How does the way another person dress/look have anything to do with you? Itās no different then gender purists telling you that you arenāt really a man because, what will the children think?
This kinda implies to me that you think the LGBTQ community is one big hive mind that canāt have differing opinions.
Itās fair enough.
Itās actually gross that a member of the LGBT community is telling another group of the same community that theyāre a negative stereotype.
But you are, considering you brought up the fact that youāre trans, and that it personally offends you.
Also, claiming scars and tattoos are āmanlyā is rather sexist and stereotypical.
There are just as many female warriors as males ones in Azeroth, and they are just as likely to get battle scars and tattoos as males are. There are even cultures in Azeroth such as the Night Elven people where the women make up the bulk of the military/fighting force.
When his opinion is harmful to the LGBTQ community and perpetuating societal stereotypes that cause real hatred and violence towards memebrs of the LGBTQ community, then I donāt care.
You realize in real life āfeminineā men and āmasculineā women and trans people get murdered or are the victim of violence and hate speed at a higher rate than ānormalā people, right? Because they donāt fall in line with what society as put in place as āacceptable gender normsā. His rhetoric only enforces that.
āYouāre not tolerant of my intolerance!ā is bs
/tosses high heel idea in the swamp, retrieves it, lets it dry out, sets it on fire, stomps on it, hurls curse words at it, spits on it, rips it to shreds, then scatters it to the four winds
there. itās no more. wont mention it again.
