I mean, this works both ways - easiest solution to who a blue eyed thalassian elf is according to the current lore is a High elf. While there are countless reasons how or why a Blood elf might have blue eyes, without any solid evidence you’re making a much further leap than anything I’ve put forth.

How? you literally have no explanation and want to speculate about what that means for lore. I directly said it’s just an NPC with new customization, way less leaps than you trying to make blue eyes only a helf thing when even in game it wasn’t.

How is it iirc you were all for Blizzards POV on the new customization meaning groups of the race being playable and the significance it holds

Dwarves went all in to pretend wildhammer, and so did trolls with other troll tribes. Blizzard has said this is their way to add other sub-races without making whole ARs things. They have even said they are considering ways to change how you want to get adressed (like Wildhammer dwarf).

But you’re downplaying the significance of this if it benefits BEs then?
