Because I doubt with the totality of my being they’re going to commit resources to a plot thread that’s been, far as they’re concerned, tied up. Especially as it gets farther and farther in the rear view mirror.
Like am I missing something? Have they gone back and added in cutscenes or quests that retroactively expand on other stuff from past expansions?
We’ve got Super Sayian 4 Tyrande and a daily about fishing Kaldorei souls out of the Maw. You’re welcome to hope otherwise, but I really do suspect that’s your lot barring Tyrande spin kicking Slyvanas a few times.
I dispute that it was the fact that it was a faction war that did it. I think it was the manner in which they did it which was the issue.
I’ve explained how I think it could be done better in other threads. As for this thread - Night Elf problems have to be solved through the faction war. Sorry - you brutalized us, now we have to hit you back - and Darkshore was set up to fail to do that effectively. Otherwise, expect complaints to continue and dissatisfaction to be rampant.

Trust us you don’t have to warn us. We know.

Wow is a anti war story, they’ll NEVER make the nelves seem justified if they attack
WoW is set up around a faction rivalry. That made the anti-war narrative that you love so much suck for both sides. The story clashed with the mechanic in a big way.
I think it was.
Before Blizz destroyed the ability for Realm Pop to pull data that could confirm how many max level characters there are, the largest share of the Alliance playerbase, both over-all characters and max-level characters in 2018 were Night Elves.
You’re right. Which is why I doubt they’re going to revisit it anytime soon. Faction war storylines seem kinda bad. Because WoW writers don’t do complex villains. And one side has to be at least led by the sort of character who couldn’t enjoy an egg at breakfast unless they could drag in the mother hen to make it watch.
And that’s probably what you’ll get if they went for what you want.

We will beat you, for you it will be a fundamentally new experience. Be beaten by the Alliance, not yourself. You are inspired by a story in which you will not self-flagellate. Will others beat you.
Erm… you did. The presentation, apparently, just wasn’t satisfying to you.

I am not arguing if its good or bad, I am telling a fact that blizzard writes wow as a anti war story, so you are kidding yourself if you think they’ll ever make the aggressor justified
We? Or Human? The Alliance is a team in which people steal kills from other races. And all races are chasing their own murders, not team ones.
They acquitted the Horde. “We were just following orders” …

If Blizzard really does want this to be the last faction war, then they did a hella bad job trying to resolve those feelings. Which is par for the course for BFA, but they seemingly went out of their way to make the alliance leadership unsatisfied with the war ending.

and all the horde players are still upset at being villain batted arent they
And Horde players are still being told by NPCs in game that we’re bad guys.

But the aggressor of history is justified. Forget the players, just history. And in it the servants of the aggressor are justified.
Did they? Because it seems like everyone but the war hawks were cool with it. Even Tyrande seems to mostly just want Slyvanas’s head.
I’m sure they’ll revisit it at some point. Because there’s apparently only like 4 stories you can tell in this setting. But I’d bet big money it’ll be just as bad. If not worse, seeing as BFA seems like a crappier version of MoP.
Convince me that the issue you just laid out should be fixed if you believe that my issue shouldn’t be fixed.
THis isnt history, this is a fictional game written by a bunch of dudes in california, with a anti war theme
Find me a post I wrote saying your issue “shouldn’t be fixed”.
Go ahead.
I’ll wait.
